Anyways, George Bush said, “dead or alive”, about Osama bin Laden and we learn that he and his CIA allowed bin Laden to go freely into Pakistan when our CIA had him in their sights on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. We can’t forget how it was our CIA who trained Osama bin Laden to fight the Russians (and won). Our government knows where bin Laden is and they know if he’s dead or alive. I believe he’s been dead for years and those audiotapes we hear every so often are just fabricated by someone who sounds like bin Laden, because if you think about it, if he was alive, wouldn’t he want his supporters to see him? Yep!

Then there was the ricin attacks on our Congress that no one wants to talk about.

So here we are on the cusp of a new presidency and our nation is in more danger than it was prior to 9/11 and it’s not only because of al-Qaida. I’m sure the neocons of the Bush Regime will have a new terrorist group to attack our country and knowing Bush Sr., the Saudi royals, and the bin Ladens have been in business for over 30 years, it won’t surprise me in the least if they’ve been hashing out a new name/new group for years now (al-Qaida means “The Base”, which could mean the base of the Bush Family & Friends who use the money they’ve stolen from American taxpayers over the decades to keep their death squads well funded!).

George Bush has not made us safe. We’re broke at the moment and weak. This is not good. Bush had plenty of chances to make our nation strong when the republicans controlled the US Senate and House, but they didn’t. Instead of talking about Iraq, they wanted to focus on Terri Schiavo and other nonsense. Hell, anyone who brought a bill to the floor to REGULATE Wall Street or the banking industry was laughed at. Don’t even get me started on how many Democratic bills sat on the floor of the house collecting dust because Denny Hastert didn’t want them to be addressed.

The next 9/11 attack won’t be a surprise thanks to 8 years of the Bush Regime.

I have many friends who are Muslim, and some from Iraq. I have asked them how it is now, as opposed to before we invaded. They all tell me it is worse now, they and their families are afraid to even go to the market, women are still oppressed.
Saddam was a terrible man, no question about it. But WE are the ones who put him in power, and gave him the weapons, and germ warfare he used on his own people.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are allies, on paper, yes. But they are harboring terrorists, and not to mention the terrorists are the ones who are helping them in their time of need after the earthquake. Now if you were in their place, who would you relate to, the ones who are helping you, or the ones who are “allies” on paper? So, if we were their “allies”, why is it WE weren’t the ones to help?

I have read people on this site say terrible things, like they hope the Gitmo detainees blow some stuff up or KILL people, (if they get released) just to say they were right, tell me how is that train of thought different from an extremist.

THe difference between you and I is you see more enemies because you finally became aware of them. I see Pakistan, formerly an enemy, now an ally. I see Afghanistan, formerly an enemy, now an ally. I see Libya giving up it’s WMD programme without a shot fired. I see Iraqis as allies now, not oppressed and powerless under Saddam.
