al-Qaeda Plans On New Attack To Celebrate Election Of Obama

Loading

Ok, they didn’t say in celebration but it comes as no surprise that they wait until the one is in office.

OSAMA bin Laden is planning an attack against the United States that will “outdo by far” September 11, an Arab newspaper in London has reported.

And according to a former senior Yemeni al-Qaeda operative, the terrorist organisation has entered a “positive phase”, reinforcing specific training camps around the world that will lead the next “wave of action” against the West.

The warning, on the front page of an Arabic newspaper published in London, Al-Quds Al-Arabi – and widely reported in the major Italian papers – quotes a person described as being “very close to al-Qaeda” in Yemen.

The paper is edited by Abdel al-Bari Atwan, who is said to be the last journalist to interview Osama bin Laden in 1996. According to the report, bin Laden is himself closely following preparations for an attack against the US and aims to “change the face of world politics and economics”. The operative is quoted as saying that “this will be shown by the fact that we now control a major part of the south of Somalia”.

Jane Novak believes the gist of the story to be true.

And who have the American people picked to be the one to defend this country?

A community organizer.

Wonderful!

al-Qaeda understands this and now see’s a perfect opportunity to gain back some of that prestige they have lost at the hands of the current President. I mean hell, Obama is even considering bringing in Jamie Gorelick as his Attorney General.

Almost sounds like a fiction novel eh? But it’s our reality now.

Interesting isn’t it, how Bin Laden would wait, rather than bringing the next attack as soon as it was feasible to do so? I guess he doesn’t believe in the “surge” strategy.

Terrorism my ass, just call it was it is, Alqaeda Vs. NYC. “Change the face of politics and economics” that equals taking New York City off the map. As terrorists they kinda fail. I thought the idea was to “scare the country” well, more like scare NYC.

They knew attacking the U.S. (even if they could) before an election would be a bad idea. It would have insured a McCain win.
Now that they have the dems in charge, they know they stand a better chance of being successful.

I wonder why some people are so sure that McCain could have won under any context. If Bush would be unable to protect Americans from an attack before McCain comes in, why would people assume that a Bush supporter would be any better?

This site already mentioned that Obama’s internal memo already mentioned absorption, in that it was monitarily cheaper, money wise, to let them attack and not retaliate than to prepare for all threats and then respond through military action. This could be Obama’s political undoing as it was with Carter and Clinton.

the attcaks on 9-11 were being planned far before bush was elected, he just was the unlucky son of a bitch to be in office when it happened. i think bush did an excellent job after 9-11, he made us all feel safer and more secure and like he was gonna go something about it, which he did. obama will probaly tell them that they aren’t being nice and that they should come over for some fried chicken and waffles. it scares me to think that obama will be the commander in chief of our armed forces, we will belucky if he doesn’t take away their guns and give them sticks and spears because guns kill people. obama is a moron and when he turns everything to crap he will have noone else to blame but himself.

Jamie “the intel wall” Gorelick??? What about his campaign promise to boost intel capabilities… he thinks he does this by putting an AG in who supports communication walls between our intel departments? good grief Hope this is just a NYTs rumor.

The operative is quoted as saying that “this will be shown by the fact that we now control a major part of the south of Somalia”.

Hummm… Somalia rears it’s ugly head prominently again. The Somalia where Saddam specifically ordered orchestrating an aasault against the US in the early 90s, and that terrorist group to whom “Iraq had no ties until we were” trained those that killed and mutilated our soldiers. In light of the documented relationship between Zawahiri and Saddam since 1993, and Zawahiri’s and Bin Laden’s relationship before that, only the naive could think AQ’s role in a Saddams operation is coincidence.

Like the cockroaches they are, jihad has quite a nest there, as well as in Pakistan/Afghanistan, and a mini nest in Iraq where they are dodging the Raid 24/7. They will never stop plotting against the US.

It will take the Obama faithful a while to figure this out. All they have done is celebrate the leaving of the old “great Satan” to usher in the new “great Satan” with a funny name… one they think will bring an end to jihad’s steely eye on the west.

Since that won’t happen, all that’s left is to see if Obama thwarts the intel reform by picking a obstacle like Gorelick, and just how he deals with their next attempt to take down the west.

Or perhaps Obama will take them up on their offer for a truce in exchange for removing all US troops from Arab lands. A truce with jihad is a one sided critter… as they have proved for over a decade in Pakistan. If Obama backs off, they will continue to push him until he has the US’s back against that proverbial wall of Jamie Gorelick.

Gee, I wonder if the anti-war socialist will pre-empt the attack?

“i think bush did an excellent job after 9-11, he made us all feel safer and more secure and like he was gonna go something about it, which he did.”

I have to agree with you there, Bush did make most Americans FEEL safer. The reality is something entirely different, as history will demonstrate with the 20/20 vision of hindsight. Bush has laid the groundwork for more terrorism around the world, and eventually again at home in North America.

Saskboy,

Just curious! “Sask”, stands for Saskatchewan, right? I thought so… a leftist Canadian, OMG. No wonder you like our Socialist Health Care System.

You are so ignorant to think that Bush laid the groundwork for more terrorism. It is the contrary. Terrorism has diminished in the world since war against terrorism began. But with Obama, they are hopeful they will be able to recover from their losses.

You see terrorism has nothing to do with U.S. foreign policies. NOTHING! It is a religion war. They hate us because they think we are Infidels and they want to kill all of us, including you Saskboy. They hate our way of living. They hate our freedom, rights and liberties. Their goal is to install Sharia’s law all over this planet with Jihad war. They will never like or approved of Western Civilization. They don’t like Obama, they are just happy that he won because it will make it easier for them to reach their goal. With McCain they could not recover from what they lost with Bush. McCain would have probably been tougher than Bush.

Saskboy,

Get some education and watch this video done by MSNBC. This video talk about liberals like you who do not understand terrorism. Everybody should listen to this video.

SAM HARRIS ON ISLAM

Saska is simply a volunteer O-bot. Craig, you grossly overestimate the comprehension level of such beings, they can only regurgitate what is fed to them, and nothing more.

Saskboy;
911 was in play long before Bush was elected. Perhaps you forget that the high-jackers were in American attending pilot training? Getting terrorists here, setting up cover, getting them passports, plane tickets, housing, false ID’s, inventing false lives is not something that happens overnight like it seems in Hollywood movies. It takes weeks, months, or years of planning.

And a whole hell of a lot of good the Dems did to protect us. Blocking immigration reform and reducing budgets on border patrols. Trying to set up customs free ports like the deal Clinton tried to give to China in southern California. Perhaps you also forget that Saudi Arabia offered Osama bin Laden up on a silver platter to Bubba Clinton and his response was pretty much the same as Palin’s on the Bridge to Nowhere, “That’s, but no thanks.”

There have been several new plots discovered and blocked by our intelligence agencies and Office of Homeland Security. Some of those developed through the so called, “illegal wiretaps” on suspected terrorists.

I can understand how being Canadian you might not be aware of what’s been going on in day-to-day to stop terrorist attacks on our soil. It’s not surprising. We have U.S. citizens who also ignore what has gone on since because they would rather be blind and hate Republicans than bother with such minor inconveniencies such as facts.

All you leftist scumbags have done with your taunting and nasty behavior towards Conservatives is motivate us like never before.
Your time in power will be very short so don’t get comfortable.

@Craig:
“Just curious! “Sask”, stands for Saskatchewan, right? I thought so… a leftist Canadian, OMG. No wonder you like our Socialist Health Care System.”

You’re right to start with, then veer off. I’m actually a centrist, a Green federally, and Liberal provincially. (I fully expect the less educated here to freak out about me being “Green”, and “Liberal”, but I use these in the Canadian context, not the American.) I like our health care system only so much that I like it more than the American system. I would actually prefer one of the other systems in the world that is better at delivering quality service to most people.

“You see terrorism has nothing to do with U.S. foreign policies. NOTHING! It is a religion war.”

You’re only half right. The “War on Terror” is a religious war, in part. It’s a war of one religion (evangelical Christians vs. Muslim extremists). Most people in Iraq and the Middle East would no more want to kill me than you, or anyone else in North America. The problem of terrorism comes from a tiny fraction of Muslims, and now fed by an inappropriate response to it from American led armed forces.

“They hate our freedom, rights and liberties. Their goal is to install Sharia’s law all over this planet with Jihad war. ”

It’s a comment like that that gives you away as almost totally brainwashed. “They hate our freedom”. Why do they hate that? You are right that it’s about control. What would they gain by installing Sharia law — control. It’s a struggle for control. What do they want control of, people or physical resources such as oil? I think it has to do a lot with the feeling like they do not have control of the country they were born in, and would be happy having control of that, and otherwise couldn’t give a rat’s bottom what someone on the other side of the world does so long as it’s not holding them and their country hostage.

@Rocky_B:

Being Canadian actually places me in a position where I’m more likely to know American AND foreign facts, Rocky. You see, my culture has both domestic, and American TV (news, etc.) so I’ve grown up learning both like most Canadians. If you weren’t American, you’d probably know that you’re not the only one who knows who Bill O’Idiot is, or what the electoral college is. How often have you been through one of your country’s DHS border stations, for instance?

Hard Right, I’ve barely commented at this blog before, and haven’t taunted you. I also haven’t been nasty, yet have been now called a “you leftist scumbag”. If nasty taunting motivates you, why would you try to motivate “leftist scumbags”? Why not lie in wait and serve what you probably see as “cold revenge” by winning the next election?

Saskboy, you are hopeless. Your IQ is too low to understand. Keep thinking like you do, I couldn’t care less. I can’t stand ignorant, clueless person like you anyway. Boy you are dumb! Did you blow-up all your neurons on acid, or what? Useless, hopeless and clueless. Why don’t you go and play with people your mental age on stupid leftist’s blogs? This blog is not for you, it is for educated people.

@saskboy: You are totally right, there are many more terrorists now, and their recruitment has gone way up, we gave them more of a reason to hate us. We had sympathy around the world after 9/11. Now most of the world hates us, because of the way we handled it. Now, I believe, just having Obama elected, has already made majority of the world see us in a different light. They know that the majority of our country want a new direction, and respect us for it. Now I just hope Obama keeps up the momentum, and shows he has the vision to take us forward. (and actually go after the culprits of 9/11)

Voter,

My #7 comment adressed to Saskboy applies to you also.

“…reinforcing specific training camps around the world that will lead the next “wave of action” against the West.”

I wonder if the Jamaat ul-Fuqra camps (Red House, VA & Coldwater, MI) have been active lately.
I also wonder if our enlightened FBI and CIA have discovered Jamaat yet. Journos sure haven’t. Obama’s “Homeland Security” department will more than likely be more interested in anti-abortion groups (you know, they bomb clinics all the time) and anti-ILLEGAL-immigration groups (I capped illegal because the press and the O-gov will call them anti-immigration groups, as they always do.

But what about Jamaat in the USA? Have these been forgotten? Or have they been intentionally forgotten because to acknowlege them would cause one to link to GoV, which is now verboten?

F-ing GAH! I wish I had resources. I’d drive over to Coldwater, do my own GoV-style reportage, then I would REFRAIN FROM associating with neo-nazi groups, and the right-blogosphere could then mention the VERY REAL Jamaat ul-Fuqra again, without fear of being called facist! Alas, no car, little money. So the world must remain ignorant of Jamaat, since the only site with good info is one that nobody will link to anymore.

I repeat.
GAH!

@Craig: So, you changed your name to Mataharley? You could never be half the human being Mata is. You are such a hateful person. Everything you post is just a rant of nonsense, get a life.

voter, aka Erika :0), I know you’re excited about find a kindred spirit here. But saskboy is far from totally right.

saskboy: The “War on Terror” is a religious war, in part. It’s a war of one religion (evangelical Christians vs. Muslim extremists). Most people in Iraq and the Middle East would no more want to kill me than you, or anyone else in North America.

Really? Just Christians and the Muslim jihad movement? Then I guess they’re attacking Israel and the Jews because they’re not getting their knish and gefilte fish delivered promptly? Perhaps they bomb India because they don’t like belly dancing and tandoori… and then, of course, there is the assaults on their own religious sects – as aptly demonstrated in Iraq.

But you think it’s just Christian vs Muslim. Remove your blinders.

saskboy: You are right that it’s about control.

Considering your lack of understanding of the jihad movement in your first part, it’s not surprising you don’t know what it is they want. Since you won’t believe me, I’ll let you hear it first via Malbrunot, one of the two French journalists who were captured and held in Iraq back in 2004.

His jailers’ references to bin Laden were frequent, he (Malbrunot) said. A guard insisted to Malbrunot that it was the Christians who were waging war against the Muslims. “Our objective,” the jailer went on, sketching a European map of the future that squares with Al Qaeda’s notions, “is to overthrow all the Arab rulers, and to return to the caliphate [Islamic rule] from Andalusia [Spain] to the border with China.”
.
“For them,” Malbrunot wrote of his captors, “France is the West; it’s a global vision – it’s the infidel West against the Muslim world.”

In case you don’t want to believe a captive, you might believe Zawahiri, in his own words in January of this year.

“The fourth question: I request Your Eminence to give us a look at the future of the Jihadi march: i.e. after five or six years, how will the situation be in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, the Land of the Two Sanctuaries, the Islamic Maghrib, Chechnya, Somalia and Darfur? [Mata Note: The Land of Two Sanctuaries is Saudi Arabia]

Fourth: I expect – by the grace of Allah – the spreading of the Jihadi tide and an increase in its influence corresponding to the receding of the influence of the Crusaders, Jews and their agents in the places I mentioned.

~~~
“8: What is the usefulness of Jihad combat actions against the apostate Arab regimes, which usually target the regimes’ lackeys without severing the heads? And how do you evaluate the results of these actions, especially in Algeria, Egypt and the country of the two Sanctuaries?”
Eighth: I talked before about the Jihadi actions in Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula, and I referred to our practical discretion at this stage, but I would like to add here three notes:
1) The clash with the corrupt regimes must occur sooner or later if we want to set up the Muslim state and liberate the lands of Islam.
2) The overall position is open to adjustment from one territory to another. So for example, in Algeria the brothers pair targeting of Jewish and Western interests with waging a guerilla war against the hireling government, because their circumstances make it possible for them to do that.
3) Severing the heads isn’t the objective: rather, the objective is to remove the corrupt, apostate regime and set up the Islamic government. And the means of change differ from one territory to another.
Saskboy, they are after their Caliphate… from Spain to China. That’s the “their country” they are fighting for… massive territory. You speak of them like they are ostracized freedom fighters. Feh…
Apostate governments may be Muslim rule… however Egypt, tho ruled by a Muslim, is apostate because they are not Shariah law for the land… a goal Zawahiri has dedicated his life to is putting Egypt under Shariah law. Pakistan is another Muslim nation that is apostate, as they do not make Shariah law rule of the land. You can see the list of countries above they consider apostates.
You may not like Craig’s terse and direct way of putting things, but the base data was correct.
Erika? The US has been hated since the late 40s and early 50s. This is not new. Perhaps you meant to say we are not respected as we once were. Yet who is the first ones everyone calls when they need military or financial aid? The US. Who do they insist take an active part in negotiations? The US.
Their words, spit and disdain belie their actions. Me? I don’t feel the need to be loved. As for respect? They haven’t given that for decades either… so frankly, I don’t miss it.
But for a country everyone “hates”, as you like to believe, they’re sure banging down the border doors to get in here. So what does that tell you?
Taqiyyotomist, too bad Ted Nugent moved from MI to TX… I’d take that guy, and his family with me for back up and head over there anyway! LOL
Erika Voter,
You are so f..k up that your post doesn’t even make sense. First you say that I am Mata, and then you say she is nice. Make up your mind girl!
But don’t worry; I will be leaving this blog very soon. You and your army of moonbats will have all the space you want to write your crap. I left Quebec’s Blogs because they were infested with hateful ignorant people like you. This blog is starting to look like the ones I have left. I will not stay here if a clean-up is not done on this blog. I don’t have time to waist on useless, hopeless, clueless people like you. I will eventually find a blog who do not tolerate idiots moonbats.
You people are sick. Hoping for a terrorist attack just so you can say, “I was right.”
Get a life.
Richard,
There goes another idiot leftist who doesn’t understand anything. No one is hoping for a terrorist attack but the people who voted for Obama will be responsible for this attack. Obama will be the one who will provoke it by his lack of experience. Terrorists do not fear him; they are laughing their way to another WTC.
Leftist pacifists hate their country. Their real motivation is the hater they have for their own Civilization and what this Civilization has best produced: capitalism, rights and freedom. Knowing itself incapable of the least fertility and capable only to envy the other fertility, a destruction spirit animates them.
@Craig: You said #7 was to me, that was Mata’s post, dimwit. Stop projecting YOUR hateful image onto me. I can get along and respect people that have different views than me, unlike you. You are no better than the Islam extremists you so hate. You have an extremist way of thinking, that blinds you. You could never let any useful information into your small little brain, ‘cuz it’s so filled with hate. The AMERICAN people have spoken, and you had no voice in that. Yet you continue to threaten to withdrawal from this blog, because you are not happy with the direction it is taking, and maybe this blog is indicative of the direction OUR country is heading. Your threatening to leave the blog, is your attempt to manipulate Curt into kicking people that are not right wing conservative off the site. That’s just pitiful that you can’t even open yourself up to listen to other views. Sounds a little familiar, maybe Al-Qaeda, only on the other end of the spectrum. I can’t tell you how happy I am to know you have NO voice in our Democracy.
@MataHarley: Mata, you can’t deny that we have many more enemies now. We have given the terrorists ammunition, and created a bigger monster. Had we handled things differently, we would have built on those relationships across the globe. Like I said we had the worlds sympathy, now they have more reason to dislike us, and extremists are taking advantage and recruiting more than ever. Iran, Iraq, Russia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Cuba, Venezuela, these may have been older enemies, but their hatred for us grows and grows along with their capability to do damage. That looks to me like an increase of terrorist threat, since 9/11. Not to mention the fact that these threats have increased while we were focused on Iraq, which had minimal threat to us. We feed the terrorists hunger for hate.
Voter,
You stupid manipulator little you. You had figured out that it was my post #17, otherwise you wouldn’t have answer back. Your post was #18, you idiot!
And about hater, look in a mirror. You are despicable, spitting in Bush’ face and at all the conservatives people of this site. You are only here to provoke and vomit your hate for your country and your fellow right wing citizens. Take a break you idiot! Go to hell!
@Craig: First number 18 was MY post, you really are not too bright, are you? Just keep spewing your hate, it only lets the true you keep shining through. I love all of America, even those that don’t share in my way of thinking. I know that differences make the world go round. You are totally out there, that even your fellow right wing conservatives, have to put you in check every now and then. Get over yourself.
Let’s go thru your generalities one by one, Erika
Mata, you can’t deny that we have many more enemies now.
I’m sorry… do you have a count of the jihad enemy before as opposed to now? If so, you’re way ahead of the defense department.
THe difference between you and I is you see more enemies because you finally became aware of them. I see Pakistan, formerly an enemy, now an ally. I see Afghanistan, formerly an enemy, now an ally. I see Libya giving up it’s WMD programme without a shot fired. I see Iraqis as allies now, not oppressed and powerless under Saddam.
I see a Muslim world who was more tolerant of jihad before they saw these brutal animals slaughter their own in the quest for a Caliphate.
I’d say, you have a strange and negative view of a glass of water that’s half full.
We have given the terrorists ammunition, and created a bigger monster. Had we handled things differently, we would have built on those relationships across the globe.
Okay… what ammunition did we give the terrorists before 911? How could we have handled things differently… by avoiding Saddam? Do you honestly believe that if Saddam were in place today, life would be oh so much better? Only in a macabre parallel universe.
Like I said we had the worlds sympathy, now they have more reason to dislike us, and extremists are taking advantage and recruiting more than ever.
Right… that explains how the support for the jihad movement has falled double digits out of favor in the Muslim world. And with all those recruits, that’s why a 13 yr old girl is blowing herself up in Iraq…. Get serious, Erika.. they’ve been using women, the disabled, and kids. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Iran, Iraq, Russia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Cuba, Venezuela, these may have been older enemies, but their hatred for us grows and grows along with their capability to do damage.
Remove Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan from that mix, or you’ll risk revealing how totally uninformed you are to our relationships with those countries.
Iran, N Korea, Cuba and Venezuela are run by dictators who have taken their country to the socialist & communist cliff. Communist nations will never love the US. Russia has been retaken by a KGB operative, and is reverting the nation backwards into socialism, while pouring all their focus into seizing control of the oil in the region. They are a forgotten superpower that wants to regenerate. They will also be only the most fragile of allies… nothing more than a truce in this course.
And this has what to do with our fight against the global jihad movement that has been attacking our interests since the 60s, increasing in intensity and frequency until 911??
Right… because we went into Iraq… in Mar of 2003.
Votive said: “I love all of America, even those that don’t share in my way of thinking.”
HA! Sure you do. Is this comedy Monday?
“even your fellow right wing conservatives, have to put you in check every now and then.”
Really? Trying to manipulate my fellow conservatives again Votive?
I doubt it will work. Your tactic is just soooo transparent.
Plus, when it comes to defining right wing conservatives you are hardly the best judge.
Frankly, the only reason I can see to keep you around is so Mata has a moonbat to play with.
Though to my eyes it’s not much of a contest. Sort of like watching a cat play with a mouse.
I just keep wondering when the cat will tire of the game and bring down the chop?
Right Mata, you are right on every single items. But Voter is ignorant and does not want to learn, she does not want to know. She just wants to keep beleiving what she already wrongly believes. She is a hopeless case. Tomorrow, she will come back with the same old arguments, forgetting that you have debunked them… lol
She is a waste of time.
The leftards who insist on coming here to be obnoxious just don’t get it. They won’t be in power long and we will take all the venom and hate they spewed our way and return the favor. The core of the GOP, the Conservatives are ready to fight. There will be no more looking the other way. You will reap what you have sown.
@MataHarley: No, obviously I don’t have a head count of the jihad. But we do know that recruitment is up, and there are many more training camps, so putting 2 and 2 together, that tells me that there are many more terrorists. And the fact that our approval ratings with the rest of the globe are down… breeding ground for more terrorists against the USA.
I have many friends who are Muslim, and some from Iraq. I have asked them how it is now, as opposed to before we invaded. They all tell me it is worse now, they and their families are afraid to even go to the market, women are still oppressed.
Saddam was a terrible man, no question about it. But WE are the ones who put him in power, and gave him the weapons, and germ warfare he used on his own people.
We had bigger fish to fry, and went for the easiest to catch. We have our own problems here in America, don’t you think we have an obligation to make sure our own country is taken care of before we go and “better” another country?
Why do the people in that region dislike us, well there are many, too many to list, but lets start with the Iran-Iraq war. We were hedging our bets, and helping BOTH sides! I think we would be very angry at Tony Blair if he did that to us, don’t ya think?
I included Iraq, because we are still in their country, “at war”.
Afghanistan and Pakistan are allies, on paper, yes. But they are harboring terrorists, and not to mention the terrorists are the ones who are helping them in their time of need after the earthquake. Now if you were in their place, who would you relate to, the ones who are helping you, or the ones who are “allies” on paper? So, if we were their “allies”, why is it WE weren’t the ones to help?
We are missing the big point I have been trying to make for some time now.
ANY EXTREME IS BAD, BE IT FROM THOSE OF THE MUSLIM FAITH OR THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
OR BE IT FAR TO THE RIGHT, OR FAR TO THE LEFT. ANY extreme is damaging, and extreme is what Craig is all about.
I have read people on this site say terrible things, like they hope the Gitmo detainees blow some stuff up or KILL people, (if they get released) just to say they were right, tell me how is that train of thought different from an extremist.
I’ve read someone say the ENTIRE Muslim faith should be condemned, now isn’t that the reason the settlers came to the new world, to escape religious persecution? Oh, I get it, you only matter if you are Christian, or Jewish. There are MANY quality people of the Muslim faith, more then there are Islam extremists.
@voter:
But we do know that recruitment is up, and there are many more training camps, so putting 2 and 2 together, that tells me that there are many more terrorists.
Cite your sources for these statements please. Just because you say it doesn’t make it so.
Show us some facts.
And the fact that our approval ratings with the rest of the globe are down… breeding ground for more terrorists against the USA.
Now, hold on a second here.
On this thread you told Craig:
Good thing you don’t live in this country then huh? No one really cares what you think, you are a little man with little ideas, with no bearing on what happens in this country.
Now you say that the opinions of foreigners matter.
You cannot have it both ways.
Which is it?
We had bigger fish to fry, and went for the easiest to catch. We have our own problems here in America, don’t you think we have an obligation to make sure our own country is taken care of before we go and “better” another country?
Not only is your grasp of the facts still woefully lacking, you would benefit greatly from a fundamental understanding of foreign policy as well as national security.
ANY extreme is damaging, and extreme is what Craig is all about.
Pot, meet Kettle.
Thanks, Aye… I just “submitted” a response that was somewhat identical when it gave me an http error. Now I find I don’t need to post it at all..
But then, so many think I am you… or is it you are me?? LOL
America was safe after the 1993 WTC bombings, until George Bush was in office for 9 months ignoring all the warnings that an attack was coming to our nation in the form of commercial airliners being used as missiles. That’s why he said, “now that’s a bad pilot”, on the morning of 9/11, rather than act like an informed competent leader. Then we had the anthrax attacks after 9/11 and we find out recently that the anthrax came from Fort Detrik. Now who told our military to send anthrax to liberals? Dick Cheney? Hey, could be, because he and his PNAC members of the 1990’s wanted to get back into Iraq, and what better way to rally the base then to have them thinking our country was attacked because of liberals!
Anyways, George Bush said, “dead or alive”, about Osama bin Laden and we learn that he and his CIA allowed bin Laden to go freely into Pakistan when our CIA had him in their sights on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. We can’t forget how it was our CIA who trained Osama bin Laden to fight the Russians (and won). Our government knows where bin Laden is and they know if he’s dead or alive. I believe he’s been dead for years and those audiotapes we hear every so often are just fabricated by someone who sounds like bin Laden, because if you think about it, if he was alive, wouldn’t he want his supporters to see him? Yep!
Then there was the ricin attacks on our Congress that no one wants to talk about.
So here we are on the cusp of a new presidency and our nation is in more danger than it was prior to 9/11 and it’s not only because of al-Qaida. I’m sure the neocons of the Bush Regime will have a new terrorist group to attack our country and knowing Bush Sr., the Saudi royals, and the bin Ladens have been in business for over 30 years, it won’t surprise me in the least if they’ve been hashing out a new name/new group for years now (al-Qaida means “The Base”, which could mean the base of the Bush Family & Friends who use the money they’ve stolen from American taxpayers over the decades to keep their death squads well funded!).
George Bush has not made us safe. We’re broke at the moment and weak. This is not good. Bush had plenty of chances to make our nation strong when the republicans controlled the US Senate and House, but they didn’t. Instead of talking about Iraq, they wanted to focus on Terri Schiavo and other nonsense. Hell, anyone who brought a bill to the floor to REGULATE Wall Street or the banking industry was laughed at. Don’t even get me started on how many Democratic bills sat on the floor of the house collecting dust because Denny Hastert didn’t want them to be addressed.
The next 9/11 attack won’t be a surprise thanks to 8 years of the Bush Regime.
I see another brain trust with their hand out for a free, spare brain cell on the taxpayer’s nickel, in order to cover their personal deficit, hit the blog…..
