Have no doubt the same form of thuggery will happen at the polling precincts. Expect them to act as if they are officials and use such tactics as asking you who you are planning to vote for, if you don’t say Obama, they may demand you show them your voter registration card. After looking it over, they will likely tell you that you are at the wrong polling place and try to send you somewhere else.

When we went to vote in the 1996 general election in Las Vegas similar ploys were tried. I counter-challenged, demanding to see their polling worker identification before I would show them my voter registration card. They didn’t produce one, and instead claimed they were still waiting for their boss deliver them. We told them bullshit, and continued ahead to get in line to vote. Once inside, we complained to the precinct workers, described the individuals, and they went out to check it out, but apparently couldn’t find them. As we were leaving we saw them milling around a van in the parking lot. We drove the couple of blocks home and called the police desk number (not 911). Reported the incident and provided the polling location, a description of the people, and the van.

Just to think that people like “Real American Hater” will vote for that jerk makes me sick to my stomach.
