The conflict taking place in Darfur has many interwoven causes. Yet Obama wants to cut the military budget by hundreds of billions. Under Clinton the military budget was cut by 35%. Obamas already stated he would support no new technology or weapons systems. In an Obama administration, they would have to keep our military busy. In fact, too busy to be able to respond to domestic issues of national security and disaster relief.
