We are going to be hosed. The economy declines further more and Obama cannot say it is all Bush's fault.

He will bail out the car industry which only whimpers for enough money to make it to January 20, 2009 when Obama will return favors to the UAW by giving them 100 million.

Obama's first, second, and third priority is to get elected. If that means pandering to large numbers of unemployed, under employed, those on welfare, illegal aliens, and malcontents, he'll be happy to throw them a few crumbs as a way to get their votes. He will also turn democracy and capitalism on it's head, and villainize the affluent and successful in our society, in order to rally the masses behind him. With evangelical zeal Obama will convince his followers to replace reason with hope and belief ... to blindly follow him ... never challenge him ... and embrace his words as gospel. In the real, and unforgiving world of economics however, when you immediately gratify everyone by feasting on the goose that lays the golden eggs, the economy looses it's ability to continue generating growth and wealth. Obama is promising everyone a piece of the pie, whether they helped bake it, or not ... but, only in a socialistic, or communist state do the non-contributors demand to share equally in the property that belongs to others. Immediate gratification is like a drug to the malcontents, but in the big picture, every farmer knows that you never eat your seed crop. If Obama gets elected, America will turn into a third world country, with massive government welfare programs, unable to generate jobs for it's citizens, and unable to compete in the global markets. Keep America safe, free and strong ... elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.

Obama translater:

Community Investments: Taxes go up

Infrastructure: Taxes go up

Helping the "little man": Taxes go up

Paying your "fair share": Taxes go up.

The American Dream: Only good up to 250K, after that you're the Devil

Tax cuts for 95% of the populace: 30% don't pay income taxes, they essentially get an extra welfare check.

ACORN: My personal 527 group and hit squad

After the rich are gone, the next group (one step down the economic chain) gets hit next. This continues until all levels of society are the same.....all equally miseable.

Years ago, man by the name of Shmitz said "Those who work should live better than those who won't". True then. True now. The Gilded One will flip that axiom on its ear.
Regardless of the winner November 4, this country is about to go through a nasty spell fueled by racial hate that has been simmering for many years. The economy will be secondary. Race is a whole lot more an issue than most will admit.
Yeah, I know. I'm a bigot.

There's no history whatsoever of BO ever cutting taxes.

BO actually voted to RAISE taxes on anyone making more than $42,000 per year.

We own a small business and employ 22 people. We were looking to expand next year and add on another 6 people at least.

We have had real estate agents looking for a new, larger property.

We were in the process of buying 2 new trucks and one new company car.

We just received a line of credit from the SBA to help with our expansion.

We just put everything on hold until after the election.

It amazes me, punishing the successful, and reward those who don't/haven't tried to rise above mediocrity. While in the process bankrupt the country and destroy the healthcare system even more. He's going to end up another Carter.

That top 5% basically own all industry. Don't people realize they will just up the prices of the items we need in day to day life to make up the difference, and in spite probably turn a profit.

If OBAMA is elected president in this election I will not sell another share of stock, any bonds or real estate while he is in POWER. In essence, I will not have any capitol gains for the next four years. I personally do not have to. I can survive on other sources of income such as my tax-exempt bonds.

Obama does not realize that the top 5% do not have to sell anything. They can sit tight and live off of cash that they were able to generate when they saw that he might have a chance to be the first SOCIALIST president of the United States. Let him squirm in the position that the national news media bought for him. He may even be the first president to actually QUIT.

The problem with his tax plan is it's what he SAYS he will do. I don't believe for a second he will not go after the middle class. As it is he will undo the Bush tax cuts. He's a typical dem who has no intention of being the "fiscal Conservative" he pretends to be.

Leah;
You need to pick a different company, the Walmart corporation probably uses all 9k+ of the IRS tax laws and like almost all big business uses those loophole to not pay crap.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22771568/ :

Hillary Clinton, who was close with the Walton family, served on the Wal-Mart board from 1986 to 1992. In 2006, her Senate campaign returned $5,000 to the company's political action committee while citing differences with company policies.

A blind trust held by Clinton and her husband, the former president, included stock holdings in Wal-Mart. They liquidated the contents of the blind trust in 2007 because of investments that could pose conflicts of interest or prove embarrassing as she ran for president.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1551441/Obama-called-hypocrite-for-wife's-Wal-Mart-link.html :

As a fluent public speaker, independent-minded wife, devoted mother and professional woman, Michelle Obama has been hailed as an invaluable asset to her husband Barack's mission to capture the Democratic 2008 presidential nomination.

Yet, while her style and performance are winning plaudits on the campaign trail, a little-reported business interest of Mrs Obama's has opened her husband up to one of the criticisms that politicians fear most - the taint of hypocrisy.

She is taking a break from her main job, as a well-remunerated Chicago hospital executive, to campaign for her husband. But she has just been re-elected to the board of an Illinois food-processing company, a position she took up two years ago to gain experience of the private sector.

And the biggest customer for the pickles and peppers produced by Treehouse Foods is the retail giant Wal-Mart, the world's largest corporation and the bête noire of American liberals, including Sen Obama, for its employment practices, most notably its refusal to recognise trade unions.

As the Illinois senator prepared to join the presidential fray late last year, he threw his weight behind the union-backed campaign against Wal-Mart. He declared that there was a "moral responsibility to stand up and fight" the company and "force them to examine their own corporate values".

According to the couple's tax returns, Mrs Obama earned $51,200 (£25,700) for her work as a non-executive director on Treehouse's board last year, on top of the $271,618 salary she was paid as a vice-president of the University of Chicago Hospitals.

She also received 7,500 Treehouse stock options, worth a further $72,375, as she did the previous year, when she banked a $45,000 salary from the company.

The apparent contradiction between Sen Obama's political calculation to join the Wal-Mart-bashing lobby, and his wife's profitable role with a company that makes money from Wal-Mart, is being closely scrutinised by "opposition" research teams working for rival White House candidates, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt.

They are collecting information about Mrs Obama's Treehouse ties, anticipating that - in a country where "going dirty" is a political way of life - the link may provide valuable ammunition in the election campaign.

No matter what he says, Obama's Tax plan targets INDIVIDUALS who earn more than $250k for redistribution of wealth, NOT corporations. Corporate taxes is a totally different animal. It's like Apples & Oranges. But, yes any big business taxes he adds are not paid by the businesses because they pass them all on to the consumers. McCain is absolutely correct, Obama's tax plans tax the crap out of small and medium business owners. For Socialism to work you have to eliminate the middle class and lower wealthy tax brackets so that ALL the peons are equal paupers.

She is taking a break from her main job, as a well-remunerated Chicago hospital executive, to campaign for her husband. But she has just been re-elected to the board of an Illinois food-processing company, a position she took up two years ago to gain experience of the private sector.

And the biggest customer for the pickles and peppers produced by Treehouse Foods is the retail giant Wal-Mart, the world’s largest corporation and the bête noire of American liberals, including Sen Obama, for its employment practices, most notably its refusal to recognise trade unions.

As the Illinois senator prepared to join the presidential fray late last year, he threw his weight behind the union-backed campaign against Wal-Mart. He declared that there was a “moral responsibility to stand up and fight” the company and “force them to examine their own corporate values”.

According to the couple’s tax returns, Mrs Obama earned $51,200 (£25,700) for her work as a non-executive director on Treehouse’s board last year, on top of the $271,618 salary she was paid as a vice-president of the University of Chicago Hospitals.

She also received 7,500 Treehouse stock options, worth a further $72,375, as she did the previous year, when she banked a $45,000 salary from the company.

The apparent contradiction between Sen Obama’s political calculation to join the Wal-Mart-bashing lobby, and his wife’s profitable role with a company that makes money from Wal-Mart, is being closely scrutinised by “opposition” research teams working for rival White House candidates, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt.

They are collecting information about Mrs Obama’s Treehouse ties, anticipating that – in a country where “going dirty” is a political way of life – the link may provide valuable ammunition in the election campaign.

No matter what he says, Obama’s Tax plan targets INDIVIDUALS who earn more than $250k for redistribution of wealth, NOT corporations. Corporate taxes is a totally different animal. It’s like Apples & Oranges. But, yes any big business taxes he adds are not paid by the businesses because they pass them all on to the consumers. McCain is absolutely correct, Obama’s tax plans tax the crap out of small and medium business owners. For Socialism to work you have to eliminate the middle class and lower wealthy tax brackets so that ALL the peons are equal paupers.
