IMHO,
Voter fraud should be the scariest, most disturbing thing for all of us. Without the right to a fair vote, none of our other rights mean anything. In fact without a vote, we would have no other rights. Think about that.

That said, I saw the ACORN spokesman, Scott Levenson on FOX news tonight and was amazed.

How can he say these things with a straight face!

Theresa I couldn’t agree with you more. My vote in November in Ohio will be disenfranchised (negated) by these fraudulent voters being registered now.

It’s too damn long for TV, but of course like all McCain’s good ads, it will never appear on TV. It should start with “He paid them 800k to intimidate banks and engage in voter fraud.” Direct to the point.

Didn’t John McCain say something to the effect that B. Hussein is “decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States,” but now, in this ad, says he’s too risky for America?

I thoroughly agree, he IS too risky for America, but to say one thing to your public audience and then another in an ad that will never be shown on television is still going to get Senator McCain caught up in the “double-speak” and the left will be all over it, calling HIM a liar, blah, blah, blah…

On another note, I am glad that the nice, lulling voice of the woman that was doing many of his ads did not do this one. The voice still needs to be stronger, though. Someone like the guy who did the “Beef. It’s whats for dinner.” would be a good choice!

Yes McCain did say that. I saw some video on it on television. McCain’s reason for saying it was due to the angry shout-outs by some audience members. It was getting a bit too out of hand and he was obviously concerned it could get ugly. It was starting to sound as bad there as the Lib Dem protests were outside of the RNC Convention. So John toned down his attacks for the rest of that rally. Even Obama gave McCain a “tip of the hat” for easing up today, but then he went right back into his own attacks on McCain-Palin.

I believe that statement was made in response to a woman who said that Obama is “an Arab” and that she was afraid of him.

McCain corrected her on that point.

Also in regard to the audience members who have been shouting things, it is now believed the they are Obamatons who went to the events specifically to be about to shout things like “terrorist”, “traitor”, “kill him” etc. so that the media would pick up the story and use it to make McCain/Palin look bad.

Yeah, I heard later the crowd actually lifted one Obamatron up over their shoulders and passed him to the back of the crowd.

Why can’t you dopes see past the smoke and mirrors? The real issue is not that Mickey Mouse might actually try to vote, but rather that the Republicans are staging another large-scale attempt to discredit your votes and steal your election.

I am sure you are stoking off at the thought of this, but believe me when I say that this is going to blow up in McSame’s face, just like all his other poorly constructed decisions (e.g. Palin, campain suspension, Ayres, etc.).

@jonkatz:

The Republicans?

The Republicans?

You, of the same party who truly disenfranchised their own voters in MI and FL want to preach to us about your fantasy regarding the “Republicans” discrediting votes and stealing an election.

You, of the same party whose voters in New Mexico engaged in real, provable voter fraud want to pontificate to us?

Really now.

You need to put down whatever you’ve been smokin’ and get some fresh air.

jonkatz…classic. Obama funds ACORN groups. ACORN groups commit largest registration fraud in American history, but you want to blame McCain and Republicans for fraud? Denial is not a river in Egypt.

You think I am in denial? Let me spell it out for you:
a) Obama funded ACORN.
b) ACORN hired homeless people to collect votes.
c) Homeless people scam ACORN by registering imaginary voters. It should be noted that since these voters don’t actually exist, they can’t and won’t vote.
d) ACORN flags such registration and submits them AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
e) No fraud committed…
f) Yet…
g) Republicans then begin a coordinated effort to convince voters that ACORN (or whoever) is part of a vast conspiracy.
h) Republicans respond to the situation by purging new registered voters.
i) Millions of them.
j) THIS purging is illegal and has been done in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, & 2008.
k) Like it or not, Obama is wise to the scam now and has filed a lawsuit.
l) The republican party is currently under investigation

Oh yeah, one more thing… Are you ignorant of, or just ignoring these REAL voter registration fraud charges:

jonkatz;
The Guardian?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guardian

Editorial articles in The Guardian are generally to the left of the political spectrum. This is reflected in the paper’s readership: a MORI poll taken between April and June 2000 showed that 80% of Guardian readers were Labour Party voters;[4] according to another MORI poll taken in 2004, 44% of Guardian readers were Labour voters and 37% Liberal Democrat voters.
—————————————————————————————————-
Traditionally affiliated with the centrist Liberal Party, and with a northern, non-conformist circulation base, the paper earned a national reputation and the respect of the left during the Spanish Civil War. With the pro-Liberal News Chronicle, the Labour-supporting Daily Herald, the Communist Party’s Daily Worker and several Sunday and weekly papers, it supported the ‘Republican’ government against General Francisco Franco’s insurgent ‘nationalists’. The paper so loathed Labour’s left wing champion Aneurin Bevan “and the hate-gospellers of his entourage” that it called for Attlee’s post-war Labour government to be voted out of office. Its anti-establishment stance fell short of opposing military intervention during the 1956 Suez Crisis.

That Guardian? And we are supposed to take them seriously?

Are you aware that there are Nigerian and UK versions of The Guardian? As well as Trinidad and Belize (Official party organ of the opposition United Democratic Party of Belize). Perhaps you’ve missed that Nigeria uses UK connections frequently in their scams?

This website is not called Flopping Aces I think for nothing. I raise you two bags of popcorn and call your bluff.

JonKatz, defender of that stellar ACORN group. Kicking out incomplete registrations, or registrations with obvious ficticious names is the easy part and ACORN is quick to take the credit then conveniently blame the top-knotch employees they hire, “hey, look over there.” Not going to fly anymore, the FBI is now looking in the right direction.

Finding registrations of people that register under names and addresses of people they know do not vote is another story. All someone has to do is register using a their uncle’s, aunt’s, cousin’s, friend’s name, information and address, and vote again in another district or early vote and then vote again on Nov. 4 in their own district and another district and another district on Nov. 4. Once they get a voter card/cards, they are off to the polls. ACORN, early voting and same day voting makes it convenient for these fraudulent voters to vote multiple times.

With all the bogus registrations that are overwhelming the election offices in ACORN targeted battleground states, chances are nil that this type of fraudulent voter will be found in time. Fraudulent 2008 VOTING *of* voters ACORN registered HAS been uncovered in states. Without the aid of ACORN.

Also, the influx of new Dem registrations, ACORN isn’t targeting Republicans, affects polling in the weighting. If people believe their candidate doesn’t have a chance, that could suppress their vote.

BTW, Obama’s lawsuit is nothing but a “CYA” move. Train them, fund them and then file suit, when it starts getting to hot, atta boy. Wonder how he’s going to get that organization under his bus?

You provide the name of one Republican on a get out the vote agency, who did the exact same thing as 13 Acorn workers did just that we’ve found out about in Ohio (See following story) as your imperical evidence; That not only are the Republicans MORE guilty of REAL voter fraud than the Dems and Acorn, but you maintain Acorn is innocent and committed no fraud? And this is supposed to sway us? I would agree he should be charged and receive the same sentences as Acorn workers, but come on. You have to do better than that for this indy.

http://www.politicalforum.com/elections-campaigns/56666-ohio-13-obama-campaign-workers-pull-voter-registrations-avoid-felony-fraud-charge.html

What’s more is it’s already known that illegally registered voters under Acorn are yielding actual illegal early votes.

If it were not for such illegal activities every election in the last 20 years alone, there would be not need to place voters and their registration under stricter scrutiny. Which Dems claim to be the main burr in their saddles. Let’s take the requirement to show valid ID. You have to show ID to write a check to prove to a store clerk you are who you say you are. The same when you go to any government agency to do business with them, But you don’t think people should be forced to do the same to vote? Isn’t that why Dems also want illegal aliens to be able to get state driver’s liscenses? So they can try to scam motor voter laws? The only “smoke” I see is that which some Dems insist on trying to blow up our collective a$$e$.
