The public announcement of a bailout plan didn’t come until Sunday but you are correct in believing that there are those who had prior knowledge of the decision.

Experts all around could see this bailout in the tea leaves months ago.

Also, the Chosen One lied to George Stephanopoulas when he said he registered for the Selective Service when he got out of high school in 1979. There was no more Selective Service registration in 1979. It terminated in 1975 and wasn’t reinstated until July 1980. Just another lie to pile on the list of ones he has already built up.

And Clinton’s prosperity was cooking of the books, just like Enron did.

And Clinton era was peaceful, Twin Towers bombed, USS Cole, Attacks in Africa, Bosnia. Not really peaceful to me.

I have never advocated for him to be disqualified from holding office based on his faith, however his nuanced ever changing, outright dishonest positions on something as basic as this creates questions in regard to his overall character and honesty.

As to the idea that his school didn’t push the Muslim faith, that’s simply not true. Obama told us differently in his own book.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were quasi-public institutions operating with an implicit government guarantee. Under that structure they had essentially nothing to lose no matter what they did.

The statement from Gov. Palin that you so gleefully pounced on is absolutely accurate.

Here’s her statement:

“The fact is that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac–they’ve gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers. A McCain-Palin administration will make them smaller and smarter and more effective for homeowners who need help.”

Both of these companies, as of July 2008, were being offered low interest market rates by the Fed. They were both teetering on collapse and had been for months. This financial peril was widely known before Gov. Palin’s statement and yesterday’s bailout to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Their stock price has plummeted 90% since January. Everyone who was paying attention knew this was coming. The risk and costs to the American taxpayer is apparent.

So, explain to me, if you’re able, how her statement is incorrect.

It’s really quite shocking what has gone on behind the scenes at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and who the players are.
