you have to click on another link to find the entire statement and decide for yourself about the journalistic integrity! some news organizations are better than others. cnn and fox news are the best typically. you never know what you’ll find on blogs, even like these. it’s the age of information where the net is a verbal feeding frenzy of ideas of all kinds. it give a voice to some who have dangerous ideas. therefore, i’m thankful for those news agencies like those above.

yes. the media has a blank sheet of paper and minutes to fill on TV. so, whatever “food” politicians/people give them they will eat it there. it keeps politicians in check with the public. like it or not! does it ALWAYS do it’s job. NO! is it better than wonder what the politicians are doing behind closed doors? maybe! for me, i don’t always want to know! there again, it’s up to the media to decide what is published, but ultimately for the viewers/citizens benefit. IDEALLY!

i don’t believe the media put the issue forward initially comparing obama and palin. when palin was announced the obama camp said, “a small town mayor…a heart beat away from the presidency.” dems were saying she was inexperienced. then repubs. flipped it and started comparing her executive experience versus obama’s. point being she has more. the media took it and ran with it and put the facts forward to make the public decide. obama doesn’t want that argument, so i think, they want to change the situation! when hillary was recently asked about palin as vp choice, she said it wasn’t about her, it was about the party differences.

The world isn’t comparing Palin and Obama….. the media is. Most people’s views are completely skewed because of the media. Personally, I think when it comes to such a large decision making process for our country, the media should be held responsible for their actions. They should not be allowed to take things so far out of context as they usually do.

Does anyone else agree the media in this country is just screwed up?

It is so disheartening to hear this language coming from Democratic adults. I have always respected my Democratic counterparts but no longer. I am unabashedly proud to be a Christian Conservative Woman and I an quite tired of being criticised for it. Just because I dont support late term abortion or abortion for birth control I am made to feel “out of touch”. I think that the Dems will be surprised how many of us there are when we go to the polls in November. I applaud Sarah Palin and wish her well. She makes me openly proud to be a woman with values as she obviously is. GO SARAH! By the way…for those of you who think she lacks experience just look at your number one on the ticket. Its funny that the world is comparing your number one to our number two!

ANOTHER argument. IVY LEAGUE!

as dems like to complain about bush’s incompetence, he too was an ivy league grad, which cancels out that argument. because teddy is an ivy league grad makes him worthy like obama is nonsense because bush was also.

Further, from the complaints of the past of many leaders, many of which were ivy league grads means that maybe it is TIME FOR A CHANGE!

VOTE NON IVY LEAGUE GRADS, until you get a roosevelt. The closest of which is a palin, a two year governor from an Iowa College!
