I think it’s great that McCain punched right back on this one. Great ad. I don’t think O’bummer could have set himself up for this ad any better than by having the nerve to attack McCain about housing!! Oh brother!

both are funnier than hell, obama has given them some great material. what a moron, thinking he is the one. well i guess now the gloves are off and the mud is really gonna fly now. i just hope obama’s people lay off of mccains wife, michelle is just jealous of her. this will by interesting from now on.

Of course BHO and team will say mud slinging, but is it really, when you use their own words?

Maybe Obama is related to Wile E. Coyote. Wile had all this money to buy all this gear to kill a bird that just stayed the course and yet Wile fell into his own trap each and every time. I wouldn’t be surprised that McCain purposely forgot how many houses he had just to bait Obama into yet another trap that Obama created.

Sarge, great post. Ya know, I do not like Sean Hannity, don’t listen to his shows or watch em. However, the other day I was surfin and stopped just long enough on H&C to see him start talking about Rezko etc. Then they went to Colmes who tossed back the idea that somehow the idea is that we’re supposed to vote for people based on who they know. It pissed me off, and I continued to surf till I got to Iron Chef America (I’d rather see people eat peanut butter snail ice cream than listen to the spinfest on H&C). During a commercial, I got to thinking.

Should we be judged on the company we keep, the people we know, and the wrongs we idly sit by and watch? I think yes, and here’s why. Ignoring that the left constantly and hypocritically frames Bush/Cheney as in the hands of big oil because they know oil people. What if someone is running for President, and his best friends aren’t oil company execs, but rather they are admitted terrorists, openly anti-American, constantly ranting about “the jews [this]!” and “the jews [that]!”

I mean, if we’re supposed to look at Bush/Cheney as tools of their friends in the oil business or at least as wink wink nudge nudge cohorts, or even if we’re to think less of them for knowing some of the most powerful, important, and needed people on the planet…then shouldn’t we at the very least ASK Sen Obama, “Hey man….how naive can you be to have sat in Rev Wright’s church for 20yrs and never noticed that the guy gives new meaning to the word nutjob?”

And as to the Ayers thing….c’mon. I’ve known plenty of bad people in my life. I’ve known many with records, and some who have done terrible things in their youth. The common denominator in all their cases is that they recognize their errors. I’ve worked with veterans who flat out told me they committed atrocities and told me the details. They all recognized and sought to continually work to avoid the stupidity and ignorance of youth. Clearly Sen Obama’s friends do not. They-like Ayers in particular-take great pride in having committed crimes against the United States. No. Until a person recognizes and repents…they should not be your friend otherwise you’re passively accepting that those crimes, errors, whatever, are ok.

When Alan Colmes asked, ‘Are we to judge people by the company they keep’, I would so So SOOOOOO love for someone to have asked him, “Hey Alan, why is it that you don’t hang around with anti-American rabble rousers, or Jew-haters, or terrorists who still advocate and see no crime in their acts? I’m guessing Colmes doesn’t hang out with such people, and he wouldn’t because his character objects to those things rather than aquiesce, submit, or accept them nonchalantly.

What’s that?
You hate Jews? Wellllllllll, that’s ok. You’re still a friend of mine. NOT
Oh, I see, you’ve spent 20yrs telling everyone you possibly can how everything bad in America is the fault of people with a certain skin tone? You’re still a friend of mine. NOT
Wanna go blow up the United States Capitol? That’s ok. You’re my friend, and it’s not anti-American to burn a flag, fly it upside down, step on it, spit on it, or attack the Capitol. Nooooo. Of course not. Hell, why don’t I just give ya the keys to the vault where we keep the US Constitution so you can take a crap on it too and call it protest? That’d be ok. You’d still be my friend. NOT

Look, some things are just wrong, and if you stand around lacking the courage to even recognize them as wrong for 20yrs….then you’re accepting the wrongdoing as if it were right. That’s not right. That’s not a man with the character to be President-a job that requires calling a spade a spade, objecting to anti-semitism, rejecting verbal and physical attacks on the United States of America even when done under the false pretense of “protest.”

You wanna protest? Get a sign, write a letter, send some campaign money, and/or run for office. Standing on our flag…that’s not a protest. It’s an insult, and if you doubt it…try doing it in front of an 80yr old Marine who saw a speck of a flag on top a volcanoe and drew more than hope from that flutter. Oh, but be ready, ’cause odds are you’re gonna get your ass kicked. Try doing it in front of Senator Obama? No reaction. They’re friends.

Re: Scott…

AWESOME POST!!!!!

Scott, I definitely couldn’t have said it any better.

And, Sarge, welcome to FA and thank you very much for your service to this great country.

I can see him joking about that, especially if he’s not obsessed with his wealth. I’m waiting for them to use the tape of Obie not knowing how many states there are… “57, maybe 59,…whatever, as long as they vote for me, who cares!”
