Good work Doug! And let that serve as a challenge to our other friends with minimal graphic or video skills to come up with their own bumper stickers, campaign ads etc.

Those Democrats!

I thought the 28th Amendment took care of this once and for all.

Guarantees free parking and low gasoline prices along with a tax credit for low mileage vehicles, pleasure craft and private aircraft.

Vote democrat in 2008 and you will not have to worry about the price of gas. The problem will be getting gas at any price. I'm trying to figure out how to mount the sail and windmill on top of my truck. Peeeloshi, Reid and the rest of the dhimmi's will provide the hot air. If you voted dhimmi in 2006 you have no complaint coming but should help those who did not vote for the idiots pay their gas bills and prepare for the shock of winter. So far I'm assured of a 30% increase in my electric bill (already in effect) and my home is totally electric. I can use wood/coal as backup heat, won't that make the enviro hippies happy?

1903A3: Just reload the page you are viewing this on. I've found that if you wait too long to click the video button after a page loads you often get an error message.

Here's the direct link for the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roFOMEggV6o

Wordsmith: I appreciate the feedback. The problem is the limitation of MSMovie Maker. The better choice all the way around would be a narrated clip without so much text. But this was a spur of the moment thing.

We'll have to hope our friends in various political action organizations can get on board and put out some similar stuff in the next 12 weeks.

Scott: I am amazed you still admit voting for these clowns. No one could say you were not warned that the effort to demonize the GOP majority was a first rate con job and that the consequences of falling for those lies would be severe.

I'm only surprised we have been able to stave off their efforts to force defeat in Iraq.

I'm in a gerrymandered district, I voted Republican but it didn't make any difference. As a Californian I can safely say that my representation in Washington doesn't give a hoot what I think or even respond to what I write about to them. They are only responsible to The Party. They are safely ensconced in a perpetual Democrat voting-bloc district, safe from the opinions of public they are supposed to serve. They don't serve anybody but The Party. The Party uber-alles.

I watched the video and did not appreciate having to sit through all the pictures of Pelosi with the creepy music.

Mike, one suggestion would be to use a thicker, bolder font. Otherwise, good job.

When it was done, he smiled, was nice, and as we were walking out he said something I will never forget. He said, “Well, now that we’ve got control in the House we can rams some of this down the Republicans throats.” He said it with a vampiric smile.

That is not what I voted for. No one should ever vote for that.

Scott, that is an absolute depressing story.

I will not vote for Congressman Tim Ryan again. The guy is a total leftnut stooge bent on partisan agenda and not patriotic duty. He’ll probably still get elected as this is one fubar’d district until 2010, but that party-lemming will not get a vote from me.

You should spread around the story of your meeting with him.

What amazes me, too, is what on earth did you exactly say in your conversation, to give him the impression and obviously poor judgment, that what he said to you would be something you wanted to hear, let alone something appropriate to say to any voting constituent.

I voted for Democrats to go to Congress in 2006, but I did not intend to vote for higher gasoline prices. I voted for Congressman Tim Ryan and Senator Sherrod Brown because the Republicans didn't offer any viable alternatives, and I don't vote along party lines...but rather on the abilities of the person. I was woefully wrong, and it will not happen this year.

Back in mid 2006, I collected all of the different "plans" for Iraq that various Democrats were tossing about as well as the various "plans" that the Bush Admin had tried over the years. I also took the ISG suggestions. Then I put them all on a spreadsheet, found the commonalities, and tried to notify my Congressman that there was a viable "plan" for Iraq. Emails got nowhere. Phone calls led to nothing. Finally, after the election, I dragged my kids all the way to his local office (almost an hour and a half drive), and we waited until someone would see us. A staffer came in, thanked me for my vote when I told him I'd voted for Congressman Ryan, and then he sat patiently as I showed him my findings. When it was done, he smiled, was nice, and as we were walking out he said something I will never forget. He said, "Well, now that we've got control in the House we can rams some of this down the Republicans throats." He said it with a vampiric smile.

That is not what I voted for. No one should ever vote for that. Even Paris Hilton recognizes that politicians are supposed to find solutions and get things done through compromises-NOT through gaining unchecked power and 'ramming' a partisan agenda down people's throats. Ramming something down people's throats is not democracy. It serves no one except the political bully.

There's still a chance I'll vote for Senator Obama (though if anyone has ever EARNED the job of President, John McCain is in that cadre), but no matter what, I will not vote for Congressman Tim Ryan again. The guy is a total leftnut stooge bent on partisan agenda and not patriotic duty. He'll probably still get elected as this is one fubar'd district until 2010, but that party-lemming will not get a vote from me. I will vote for a Republican-it doesn't matter who, and my vote will not be for the Republican as much as it is AGAINST THE DEMOCRAT (note, I'd say against the Congressman, but...he's a Democrat first/Congressman second imo).

Damn, I wish Paris Hilton were running. Can't stand her, but at least she vocalized the rational, obvious truth that DC politicians are forgetting: they're supposed to make things happen via compromise...

...not by games and tricks that end in "ramming" things down people's throats.
