Many of the constituents in Rep. Scott Garrett’s Northern New Jersey district commute to nearby New York City every day, so when the price of gas jumped to $4 per gallon, he heard about it.

Calls from constituents were so overwhelming, in fact, that his office established an e-mail address (PainAtThePump@mail.house.gov) for people to share their comments. Garrett, who returned to Capitol Hill today, told me he wanted to hear from constituents who changed their lifestyles in order to cut back on driving.

Thanks for sharing the video Skye. I doubt too many people would actually believe that more than one of these loons even thinks, let alone openly says these things.

Do they have the slightest clue what the consequences for our economy and American way of life would be if they got their way?

Or do they realize that it would destroy this country and that’s what they really want?

The democrats will take the country to the brink of destruction, do what the republicans have been demanding, but dhimmi’s will take credit for saving the world. The new word will be ‘Praise the Messiah, Praise Peeeloshi, Praise Reid. The worst part is the democrat voters will buy right into the con and re-elect the trash instead of hanging them. I recommend a 100 ft tall building, an 80 foot rope and a push. See what kind of mess a few hundred headless blood sucking democrat bodies make on the sidewalk.

…border security is, also. We have been invaded by Mexican troops once too often. It has to stop. I just sent a strongly worded letter to my representative. I suggest others do the same.

Not to change the subject. But what happened to Obama’s “I’ll end the war” rant? What about the Obama followers that expect Obama to end the war, when he said a few weeks ago that he now favors a “surge” into Afghanistan? More war? Is that why Obama is losing support in the polls?

Has he given a major speech on his “refined” Iraq policy? Or is he now talking about “refining” oil? The liberal media has done a fine job of not calling him on these promises he made or reporting what his base of followers are doing and saying. Have they all just decided to vote for Ralph Nader and forget Obama? That’s what they were threatening if Obama didn’t work his butt back into the radical leftist fray.

Let’s call the conservative radio personalities, — Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, the “Sussman,” Mike Reagan and the others — we want to know what flop “refinements” BHO has cranked out.

You do remember, he made a small quiet trip to Iraq to seriously learn about the issue, get what’s happening on the ground, and speak with the generals and our injured troops. OH, that’s right. It was a BIG event. So what was the result — what are his “refinements.” Or is he still promising his ever diminishing crowd he’ll end the war?
