Flopping Aces Hacked….Again

My apologies to all the readers of Flopping Aces for the inconvenience over the last hour or so. The blog was hacked and readers were sent to a webpage for advancedxpdefender.com… which then tried to load a trojan. Everything should be up and running now.

Curt, you never shoulda let that deer escape, and I never should’ve shown the video. I’ve no doubt that the hacking was from the group Deer Initiating Computer Killers; a group of DICKs

Any idea how they are exploited your blog? Was it due to some plugin or wordpress engine itself?

It doesn’t much matter–there is no “security”. There is only “more secure” or “less secure”.

There is only vigilance–the more vigilance, the more secure.

I’m thinking it was that Reader Submit Form plugin….still working on finding out how they got in but my server guru should nail him quick. Meanwhile that plugin has been disabled.
