Wordle Analysis of Flopping Aces

Wordle is a fun little tool for those who want to analyze the importance of words in a particular text, or in this case, all the words on a particular web page.

Here are the top words on today’s Flopping Aces. The larger a word is, the more often it is used:

I noticed an interesting comparison between the Flopping Aces wordle and the one I did for the home planet: Mike’s America. Notice any word that is missing in the Flopping Aces wordle that you would expect to see?

Try it yourself and show us the results from your own blog or favorite blog post. You can change the colors, font and layout. Then do a screen capture (print screen) and paste the image to the MS Paint program to save the image.

Fit fit

Is that from posts only or posts and comments? I don’t see “McCain”. I think that shows more people here are anti Obama rather than pro McCain.

No Fit Fit we didn’t analyze the comments. I doubt too many people would be interested in “Arthur’s” sour iteration of so and so “typed.”

And yes, you get get the gold star for noticing the absence of the word McCain. And your conclusion is hardly suprising. We’ve been saying that for nearly a year.

Could be worse. It coulda searched the entire web intead of just FA, and all sorts of Flopping Aces thong stuff mighta shown up.

On a more serious side, it’d be interesting to run that on some of the more active KOS or Huffpo threads.

You can do that Scott by selecting and copying the text from a comment thread. The one problem is that you get the date and time headers as well as there is no way to exclude those words unless you copy comment by comment.
