GI Joe,
If Hildabeast or any other person besides Obama comes out with the nomination after Denver, a lot of African-Americans will stay home in November. They will feel bitter and ripped off. Looking at it from their point of view, I don’t blame them. The party pretty much told everyone that Obama was the winner. All the super delegates who have declared for Obama have to continue to support this guy. The DNC is hanging on by a thread right now; a move like that would tear the Democrats to shreads.
I just might get cable TV just to watch the Democratic convention. The PUMAs are right- they should get a floor vote. It’s going to make the Olympics look like a shuffleboard tournament. Pass the popcorn and watch the disintergration.

OK. So let me add this: This is the second member of Congress in this century who violated The Logan Act. Comrade Pelosi, being the first.

§ 953. Private correspondence with foreign governments.
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

So, why won’t he be arrested, fingerprinted and indicted when he steps off the Messiah One? If the JD has any nuts at all, they’ll do it. And let the Olbermanns and Kos Kids scream “political stunt” all they want. This freaking trip that Hussein took is nothing BUT a political stunt.

Yep, “the underlying facts support him”, but always be ‘technically’ accurate, honest, and fair– play ‘touch and tickle’ politics, and no bloody noses allowed.

As for your point on his media rallies, I did say he’s almost as much a media whore as McCain.

David Corn also helps us remember a few things here:

Gergen, counselor to presidents of both parties, was overstating the case. After all, it was Maliki who had told Der Spiegel days before he chatted with Obama that he fancied Obama’s call for a phased withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq. Obama was not giving away any big secret by sharing the basics of what he and Maliki had discussed. But Gergen was truly hyping this episode by asserting no presidential contender had ever dared to interfere in wartime policy-making. There was a time when a presidential candidate truly did undermine a president while a war was under way–and Gergen worked for this candidate once he became president: Richard Nixon.

He is as ignorant as the Pelosi and Kerry types who go overseas to take on foreign policy when they have no right to do so. Kerry should have been arrested way back in the 70’s for this, and Pelosi a year ago….
