		<description>A new coal fired plant in this country would be totally safe for the environment. Even our older plants have been refitted to reduce pollution.

Let&#039;s look at the EPA numbers for particulate pollution:

It&#039;s going down in both categories.

I only wish the Chinese, who are building so many new coal plants with few pollution controls would pay as much attention to this issue as we do.

Of course the Navajo do have an alternative. They can build their plant in Mexico and ship the electrons aross the border. Perhaps they can hire illegals to lay the wires.</description>
