Perhaps this, as much as the success going on in Iraq right now, explains why Maliki is calling for a timetable for withdrawal, based upon the situation on the ground looking stabilized.

I dunno…these soldiers are lookin’ pretty stable to me.

Amy, THIS is what victory in Iraq looks like.

btw, YouTube is PACKED with videos of troops dancing. I myself liked the one of the soldier in an assault vehicle lipsynching “I’m a Barbie Girl” . The look the guys around him give is priceless.

This one…omg…yeah, I think some troops can probably be brought home now

The truth is that soldiers in a war zone goof arouind a lot. My husband and his buddies in the heat of the war in 2003-04 used to pretend to be Barny Pfeif or Gomer Pyle. Humor is a real stress reliever for these troopers.

Yup….morale sure looks low.

The look the guys around him give is priceless.

Wonder what the looks would be like on the streets of Baghdad?

they deserve to be a bit goofy, they are in high stress situations daily. god bless them and all they are doing. i hope they keep the fun going, when some friends were there the first time they had pet lizards and different contests to pass the time.
