“Peace” Fascists Heckle Bush at Naturalization Ceremony

Their voices have been heard through the electoral process and yet somehow they think their right to free speech trumps the rights of newly sworn citizens to listen to the elected President?

President George W. Bush delivers remark at Monticello’s 46th Annual Independence Day Celebration and Naturalization Ceremony Friday, July 4. 2008, in Charlottesville, VA. White House photo by Joyce N. Boghosian

It was a moment many had worked for, waited for and prayed for for years. The high honor of becoming a U.S. Citizen. And the added honor of being sworn in by the President of the United States.

It was a solemn and emotional ceremony for those who left allegiance to the land of their birth behind and became Americans.

At least it was a solemn ceremony until the “peace” fascists decided their voice was more important than the right of new citizens to hear the President of the United States and have the joy of this day left unsullied by the left’s fascist tactics.

“Peace fascists” shouting “He has brought fascism to our shores” must have sounded odd to the new citizens, many of whom escaped from REAL fascism and much worse. And as the “peace” fascists continued to shout “Impeach” and “war criminal” many in the crowd must have recalled that if these left wing loons had tried to do that in the countries these new citizens left behind, they WOULD have been locked up.

Still, it was a day of celebration for our new citizens. People of every race, color and creed became Americans on the 4th of July!

That such a day was spoiled by people who spit on their own freedom is disgusting:

Why don’t these loons take up their protest with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? After all, they promised to end the war didn’t they? Bush promised to WIN it!

It was an unusually partisan 4th of July, particularly with the left’s response to Jesse Helm’s passing.

Nasty stuff, all of it.

The left has no respect for anyone. They even turn on their own at the drop of a hat or a turn of a phrase. Very nasty people. They feel their rights and goals are more important than anyone else’s. That their ideology trumps anyone else’s. They don’t care that they spoil a memorable time for these new citizens and disrupt these proceedings on the anniversary of our country’s birth. They hate this country and I WILL question their patriotism. It is non-existant.

And why are they called peace activists? They are anything but peaceful when they kick a woman in the head in Pa. , sic a woman on a Iraq vet who was her husband and try to rough up their fourteen year old son which is really a crime. The war in Iraq is nearly over. All but the mopping up. What war will they protest next? Afghanistan? Will they call Al Quaeda and the Taliban “freedom fighters” then too. They are for it now but I doubt they will be in the future.

They hate Bush and I have never understood why. They lost the election and that is no reason to not get behind the duly elected president. What were we supposed to do just give them the presidency because they were close?

Did you notice? While 1215 servicemen and women were reenlisting in Baghdad, Maureen Dowd thought it appropriate to write the following:

“Another renowned Marine grunt in Vietnam, Democratic Sen. Jim Webb, chimed in on MSNBC, advising flyboy McCain to “calm down” on his promotion of his military service, saying we need to “get the politics out of the military.”"

Two things (while I’m still mad):

1) Funny, but I don’t recall either Dowd or Webb making the same plea when Kerry greeted his nomination with “I’m reporting for duty.”

and

2) It is simply amazing that Maureen Dowd is possessed of so little self-reflection, so little self-knowledge that she cannot see that there is nothing in her life that will be of value 4 years from now, much less 40 years from now. Yet she is shamelessly and contemptuously disrepectful of a man whose life amounted to more in a month in a Hanoi prison than Dowd can ever reasonably expect from her adult life. She disparaged 52% of the American electorate the day after the 2004 Presidential election. And now she disparages the sacrifice and commitment of Sen. McCain. And for what? For the simple puffery of her own empty politics.

Glad you posted this, Mike. I caught it earlier this AM on the CNN site, but couldn’t figure out how to embed the link from the CNN site directly.

What I found most endearing about the video was when they were dragging away Ms. “war criminal” Code Pink (assuming the shirt was not chosen for anotherthe freedom of speevch. It was an interesting view of a trio of whiny opportunists vs a class act POTUS.

And I notice none of the audience appears to lend any empathy to the protestors cause…. LOL

Too bad we we can’t do an “exchange” program. Let these obviously unhappy Americans leave, and allow another more appreciative type to take their seat instead.

We have fascists on our shores - anyone who supports or stands with the heckler in the video above.

Of course, it goes nearly without saying all the above will vote for Obama in November.

I’m betting not one of those moonbats had a problem with democrat John Kerry getting medal for chasing down an unarmed teenage boy and killing him by shooting him in the back.

Here’s an excerpt from the Code Pink Blog:

Thursday we delivered letters to congress members opposing the resolutions for sanctions against Iran. Friday a group went to Monitcello where Bush was speaking and successfully interrupted him 8 times!!! Here’s the link to the photo from the New York Times of one of our members, Tigher:

(Even if I wasn’t there my hat was!!!!) I went to the parade with a group dressed as pink statures of liberty and had a great time handing out candy with facts on Iran, Iraq and FISA. I got in the parade with the hari krishnas for a bit until a cop literally shoved me out =(. Today, Saturday, I went to the NEA (National Education Association) conference with James and Liz and met many fellow teachers and passed out flyers on the Iran resolutions.

Sorry….I included a little extra than is on-topic for this post; it’s just their idiocy is so baffling and dumbfounding, it has to be read to be believed.

Freedom of speech? Sure. Right to dissent? Of course. But, it seems to me these folks are dissenting against freedom, not tyranny!! Their anarchic leaders forgot to tell them that part. Oops!

“dissenting against freedom, not tyranny.”

Exactly. That’s why they embrace Hugo Chavez and trash the people who are trying to keep their worthless asses safe.
