Maybe, since Bush has less than 6 months more in office he has decided to quit being Mr. nice guy with congress. It has gotten him nowhere. And I am sure he is tired of the whole thing of battling the dims in order to get the basics done. One thing the democrats have in common with the terrorists is that they perceive weakness in Bush because he is so nice. There’s lesson for us all. Be firm but kind. Or smile but carry a big stick. He tried on numerous occasions to be bi partisan but the dims wouldn’t have it. The dims have made themselves into the enemy and they have no one to blame but themselves. They have no notion of working together for the good of the country mainly because they don’t care about the good of the country. They only care about money and power and heaven help anyone who gets in their way.

That photo op REALLY should’ve had Pelosi and Reid there as well. Future historians will have to explain why such public displays of bi-partisan support for supplying American forces with food, fuel, and ammo weren’t present. That’ll be a good read.
