A sunny day greeted this merry band of patriots. We had an outstanding showing, with a new face from the Knights of Columbus. The flags and signs were greeted with numerous honks from passing cars. As we continue to stand on the corner of West Chester, the honking and thumbs up increases from the motorists. It is such a great response from the public, which thrills our supporters and annoys our detractors.

Ah, life is sweet in West Chester - thanks to all the Sheepdogs who steadfastly stand in support of our troops and our Nation.

Myself and two brilliantly talented individuals have crafted the video below which has been entered into the RNC Convention Video contest:

I love this sign - it puts everything in perspective:

With the Mehdi army dissolving as I type this sentence, can we take surrender off the table regarding the War on Terror?

This is an increasingly common sight in West Chester - A motorist thanking a Sheepdog for standing in support of our troops and America:

Another common sight in West Chester - Sarah Bones, an interloper from the other side.

For those who came late to the party: There’s an informal agreement that we Americans (Sheepdogs) will not mix with the “peace protestors” and they would not mix with us. Well a “peace treaty’ is only as good as desire for peace on either side, their honesty in entering into such an agreement and their integrity in meeting their obligations under a peace agreement.

Today Chester County Peace Movement, Veterans For Peace, Karen Porter and John Grant failed (yet again) to live up to both the spirit and letter of the agreement. There is strong evidence that it was willful blindness rather than an honest mistake.

The elderly woman with the tape recorder and professional looking camera was a CCPM ally. She’s Sarah Bones, an “Indy Media journalist”. Truth is that they are propagandists for the other side. To disarm people, they lie and say they don’t have a side in an issue they interview you about. They are as honest and truthful John Grant would be….if John Grant were ever honest and truthful.

Here’s two links, the first makes it clear she’s “Indy Media” and second link shows that the Philadelphia Indy media Center was one group that were sent Porter’s plea for reinforcements her planned Faux Flag Day. My suspicion is that Grant forwarded Porter’s email, either way it’s the same thing, CCPM=VFP and VFP=CCPM. Philly Indy Media is part of that side, not ours and certainly not neutral.

Flag Day in Chester County: calling all colors

I look forward to reading Sarah’s report at Philly IMC.

I’m laughing here thinking about what would happen if these good people showed up in Santa Monica……….
People HONKED AND WAVED APPROVAL from their cars? People here’d be waving, but it wouldn’t be their whole hand, I assure you!

well “z”,, in any place where people hate americans and wave in that manner they should rethink why they have the right to wave that way. the soldiers of this nation have fought for freedom of not only americans but others world wide.

Z, some motorists do ‘wave’ in that manner…only when passing the peace-protesters.

We need more Americans who are willing to exercise their First Amendment right to assembly.
It’s a lot easier to just drive by.

Skye, it must be said you add a large touch of class to that time old tradition of the “right of the people peaceably to assemble”. Must be driving Porter and buds nuts that you and cohorts collectively lift your legs and mark their corner fire hydrant with regularity.

To give you a smile, the link to Sarah Bones’ article came up with a internet security warning for my system:

security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority

The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website’s address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server

How priceless…. LOL Needless to say, I weighed my desire to read Bones’ bones of contention vs potential security risks, and just moved on instead.

They rehosted the Philly IMC to the Barcalona, Spain IMC.

That Bones article isn’t important past the headline. It establishes her as one of the CCPM’s partners in the protest and subject to the peac treaty.

The second link establishes that Porter reached out to the IMC types for help Flag Day and indeed several of the Philly IMC types showed up. Mainly other V V A W pukes and one wacko in a “Wobblie” (IWW) shirt.

I kid passing motorists that the other side of the street is a time warp. On our side it’s 2008, on their side it’s ‘68.

But dang, the Wobblies go back to early last century.

Mata,

I have fixed the link to Phillhy IMC. Thank you for you kind words - it is my pleasure to document the free expression of our First Amendment rights.

Although, it does twist the knickers of those to left of this rally…

OMG… the Philly IMC, a subset of LAVA, wouldn’t be any I’d even *want* in my corner! Talk about ad nauseum… Just the brief reading of their site, and their “collective” office mentality, and I’d know which side they were on as soon as seeing the IMC press badge, fer heavens sake. Twist their knickers to the max, girl.

I doth have to laugh how they freely passed the rumour of expecting “contention” from you guys. Rather like the liberal/progressive media and their Congressional apes promising a Bush war on Iran, while the WH talks only of int’l diplomacy.

But it’s an old, over used tactic… incite apprehension and action by predicting (erroneously) violent misbehavior by the other side. Obviously you all were a major disappointment by not emulating the so many traditional “peaceful” liberal rallies with property destruction and rioting.

It’s nice to see some that aren’t too busy to voice approval of our country and fighting forces. This is not a knock at the rest, as family should and does, take first place.

Mata,

The leadership of the CCPM and VFP have been for months writing newsletters to their groupies with statements that easily fit the criteria for ‘inciting violence’. In newsletters and in articles in the Daily Local, Karen Porter has been making blanket statements alluding to our violent and agressive behavior.

This tactic has a way to bring fear and animosity to her groupies and anger to the patriotic members of the Victory Movement. She had hoped our anger would spill over into violence, so she could claim that her statements about us were true.

This tactic horribly backfired on her when two of her members were arrested on March 222, 2008, one being charged with simple and aggravated assault of my person.

So much for the ‘peaceful’ intentions of the peaceful folk.

Yes maam, I remember your favorable court decision on their assault on you personally, and that’s where I repeated the “classy” comment I made above. It was also in the letter as to your gracious acceptance of the decision without seeking personal gain. You were classy then, and remain so today.

It’s always been a laugh for me to see the “peace” demonstrators found their protests in violence - both on person and property.

If you have access to those mailing list “incitement” posts, they’d make a great regular contribution appearing here as well. Nothing like showing “their innards” to give accurate portrayal of those who suck up sidewalk space with regularity.

But after reading LAVA, I have to wonder if Iraq is their only beef. They sniff of a very strong Marxist agenda. Fine if they choose that in their small and willing “collective”. But have they made public intents to thrust this on the nation as a whole? Or are they confining it to their little commune?
