I was saddened by Tim Russert's death. I would like to see Lester Holt replace him because
Mr. Holt is as objective as Tim Russert was. Mr. Holt is the consummate professional.

Was neither a fan of the show or of Tim, but I send condolences to his family and friends. He was good a lobbing in the softballs so that those he supported could knock it out of the park.

I've heard a great deal about how flight can sometimes have an affect on the heart. More than one person has dropped dead after recently flying. True or not, could be this was just the right amount of stress needed to trigger such an attack.

There is more to Russert's death than meets the eye. we'll never know the truth.

Misplaced sympathy is cruelty.

My sympathies are for his innocent friends and relatives, not him.

He eagerly and gleefully destroyed Scooter Libby's career, depriving the Bush administration and the country of a unique and essential talent. And the only thing he regretted was that the damage he caused was limited to Libby, who used to do more for the country in any day on the job than Plame and Wilson and Russert together have ever done in their whole miserable Leftist lives!

For the harm he caused he deserves no prayers. If you want to pray for anyone, how about Scooter Libby? He's the one who needs it, and all because of Tim Russert.

While the man was a liberal he seemed to always be the most objective interviewer on TV. As Rush said today:

"Tim was a regular guy with that perpetual smile he wore naturally all the time. He loved life and got everything he could out of it.

"He was the closest thing there was at any of the networks to an objective journalist.

"Whether it was at dinner here in Florida while his son was taking golf lessons, or on the set of Meet The Press, Tim was always the same with me: genuine. He never condescended to anyone and was the consummate professional. He will be hard to replace,"

He will be missed.

RIP

This is horrible, my prayers to his family, I hope the agony they must be going through at this time is somehow lightened. He was so young.
