The Democrat Honesty Problem [Reader Post]

Loading

In 2006 the Democrats campaigned on, and won on, their claims that they would “end the war”.

Now, Obambi and sHillary are doing the same.

Should they be believed?

Congressman Kanjorski admits that the Dems lied in order to get elected.

The goodness starts at the 3:20 mark.

So what? They lied and people died. No big deal when they do it.

And of course Dems WILL stop, or end the war, if Obama is elected. We’ve almost finished the job now so by next January, Obama can declare in his Inaugural address that the remaining troops can start coming home.

Dems will be fooled, because as we have discovered, they WANT to be fooled.

No one else will be.

I’ve been waiting for Dems to take credit for success in Iraq. It may come if Obama is inaugurated, or it may come sooner as they try to suggest that it was because of their threats to withdraw that Iraq got serious about defending itself.

That won’t pass the laugh test either. But it won’t matter to brain dead Obamatons.

Why didn’t Congressman Kanjorski just call Speaker Pelosi and Senate Leader Reid liars ?

Perhaps Congressman Kanjorski didn’t believe it, but maybe that makes him the fool.

So they lied to get elected, big surprise, and now they think they can over-ride the Constitution by sending incomplete bills to the President. Will the Dem voters care?

Tom

You folks are great. 7+ years of abysmal failure from the bush administration and you grab onto the thoughtless words of a nobody Dem? You all are too much. How do you balance your opinion of this current story with the 1000 or so lies told by your idiot boy-king? Do they balance out for you? Do they really? Geez, you all are losing what is left of your minds. Time to let the grown ups take over.

Crickets chirpping.

How thoughtless of us, Fred. All me to apologize for us, besmirching those squeaky clean, close to God Dems.

Of course those not-so-nobody Dems don’t tell lies… that sniper fire DID happen. Teflon Bill was right when he said no one knew OBL was a threat in 1993. I’m sure he knew nothing of all that hi-tech stuff sold to China and Syria either. And that Iraqi Freedom Act in the 90s that make Iraq regime change US policy? Never happened. Must be hacked Congressional records online. And naturally, none of those Dems who voted for the Iraq Resolution knew they were voting for war… even tho the resolution’s title was Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002

Murtha was spot on when he said those soldiers – all with the charges mistakenly dropped – murdered those innocent Iraqis. Kerry had the inside track when he knew our soldiers were terrorizing innocent citizens, going door to door in the dead of night. Of course not-so-bright Albright and Bill were correct that N. Korea honored their no nukes agreement. They manufactured that program overnight as soon as Dubya took office. Pelosi has honored all the DNC campaign promises since coming to power. Obama couldn’t have heard any of Wright’s rhetoric while in the pews. And of course, he *never* did Rezko any favors. And of course, he’s “never heard” of the Hanover nuke waste site.. even tho he voted on it last year.

etc, etc, etc. (sarcasm button off…)

By contrast, most the “lies” you must be referring to have documentation that prove otherwise, were shared by int’l or Congress members, or are media concoctions for their election agenda. Or are you talking about Bush’s golf game? Oh yeah… he definitely told a whopper there that endangers our national security…

Because we are tolerant grown ups, I’ll be kind to you, oh Fred… aka Peter Pan in NeverNever Land. Blow all that pixie dust out your ear.

“7+ years of abysmal failure from the bush administration “

Really Fred?

How do you define success? Perfection?

And when was the last time you found perfection in something so difficult?

Give the Bush hate a rest. It’s stale and we are all tired of it.

I’m often fascinated by the lack of knowledge people have or lacking the grasp of facts regarding the various subjects for which they speak out in the public forums. Too often now it appears that sound-bites are what people are reaching toward without substantive facts to back up their rhetoric.

As an American I have no contention with discourse. I do, however, have contention with people who do not have grasp of facts before speaking out publicly or privately with nothing more than emotional-Molotov-cocktail type rhetoric.

This behavior has moved me toward being an American who will not speak out about those subjects politically for which I have not invested some research to obtain the actual facts of a topic.

Additionally, I will challenge EVERY individual who attempts to hijack a conversation with such behavior and I don’t care the emotional outcome of these individuals. I refuse to have this amazing and outstanding nation overthrown by feeble-minded, emotionally immature victims who do not take accountability and personal responsibility for their own lives.

One example is that when the debate about the Iraq war surfaces I simply make the point that the individual speaking must first list the 4 reasons why a nation loses its sovereignty along with explaining what it means to have individual human liberty. If they cannot(which no one EVER has been able to do) I then point out that the individual is not qualified or in possession of facts to discuss such a complicated and serious issue, which reveals how little they care about this nation, other Americans and humanity at large.
