Jr’s mammy was so poor she could barely afford her tuition on top of the shots, passports, and airline tickets she needed to go to Indonesia. All the while she collected food stamps.

In 1961 the Food Stamp program was a pilot program President Kennedy signed an executive order for that was offered to eight counties in the US. It eventually expanded to 43 counties/cities by 1964. I’ve tried to find what counties participated in the program, what I’ve seen is that it originated in the Appalachian community that Kennedy visited during his campaign. No mention of any Hawaiian counties participating.

B. Hussein Obama was born in August of 1961. When he was almost TWO his mother returned to college, money was tight, and she began to collect food stamps. She also relied on her parents to help take care of BO, Jr. Granny worked at a bank, she was hardly destitute.

You’ll notice, also, in the very next paragraph the story talks about how “mother and son spent months preparing to follow him [Lolo Soetoro, the step-father] to Indonesia—getting shots, passports and plane tickets”.

Got that? She was a college student who was paying tuition and relying on her parents. BO, Jr. (who was conceived out of wedlock) was not quite TWO years old.

His mommy collected food stamps when he was TWO.

She could scrape up the money for shots, passports, plane tickets, and tuition but yet she collected food stamps while she relied on her parents to take care of her illegitimately conceived love child.

Imagine that. Taxpayer money supporting someone who was so poor and destitute that she could hardly afford her tuition, shots, passports, and plane tickets.

That’s not “growing up poor”.

That’s welfare fraud.

I wonder if Obama reflected on grannies position when Rev. Wright made his multiple rants about “rich white people” who can get kids like Obama into $15,000 a year prep schools.

The bottom line is that 55110 claimed “BHO grew up on food stamps.” That claim is FALSE!

While his mother was on food stamps, the period must have been rather short, as I don’t believe you can collect them if you are living with a man other than the boy’s father in Indonesia.

Furthermore, Obama is an elitist NOW! Whether he benefitted from a government program as an infant is immaterial.

He is NOT a man of the people.

Only parrots and cuckoos would think otherwise.
