Obama's relationship with Ayers, his father, brother and wife had gone on for years. I remember Axelrod tried to pass the relationship off as meaningless because it was only an association of the two families because their children attend the same school. Axelrod was obviously ignorant of the age difference of the children in each family. But the story keeps evolving, they will have enough people convinced and confused enough to stay in the Obama camp. Ayers and wife are not nor ever were terrorists, bombing buildings and threatening innocent lives was just a silly sixties thing, look away. nothing here.

Interesting peek into how the Hillary vs Obama supporters are handling the Ayres/Dohrn/Obama friendship. Spent a bit of time reading through the comments and the links they provided. Kind of an entertaining morning.

That last line was EW's tribute to her pimps in the MSM. Good the WSJ has a sense of humor & let's a crazed fashionista try her hand at heavy lifting. She failed to even clean the barbell.

Wurtzel also mentions that Dohrn worked at the brown-shoe law firm of Sidley Austin with “the two Obamas” and there is speculation that Michelle was “mentored’ by Dohrn when MOmarosaObama interned at SA in the ’80s. Michelle in turn “mentored” Barry Hussein Obama & married up when he joined the firm.

I knew Ayers back in Ann Arbor when he was Diana Oughton's lesser half. She was gorgeous & shouldn't have trying punching above her weight. He is a total bantamweight sillyboy who is as arrogant as he is witless. To give him tenure is another indictment of Academentia.

[...] Flopping Aces reminds us of some other character issue associations that Obama has no issue with in the past as well. [...]

"He is doing something most unusual: He’s acting as if the American people are thinking with their brains. He’s giving all of us a lot of credit." - Now that one had me laughing for a while!
If anything , BHO is treating the American public like they are a bunch of idiots, and desperately hoping he can keep us fooled with his "hope" and "change" show long enough so that the "distractions" (read well founded concerns of the voting public), don't drag him down before he's taken up residence in the White House.
Case in point one: As part of his campaign for Congressional office, BHO puts out "Dreams of my Father" (which could have alternately been titled "Whitey is Evil"). This was a real hit with his constituency, stoking the fires of Identity Politics that those on the left so love! However, years later as he makes his bid for the Presidency, there's very little mention of this book by either his campaign or the MSM (yes, telling all the white people out there who you've been trying to convince that you're a "post-racial" politician about a book where you deride them dozens of times could be bad for your electability). Instead, he's been trumpeting his newer book "The Audacity of Hope," a title inspired by his "former" pastor Jeremiah Wright.
This brings us to case in point two: BHO is now trying to convince us that now (after 20 years!) that he has finally realized that Jeremiah Wright is a racial bigot, and that he doesn't believe in Wright's ideology. Yes, everybody ignore the fact that I was in the pews for 20 years without complaint, and defended the man as recently as last month; now he's crazy and BHO isn't connected to him anymore. Buy that one, and you can dry it out and fertilize your lawn with it...
Case in point three: His "flimsy" ties with Ayers and Dohrn, which even this piece from a sympathetic author points out are actually quite friendly and warm. BHO counts on Americans to be uninformed enough to forget about the Weather Underground, and the fact that this couple are quite unrepentant about their domestic terrorist activities. Yes, good friends for a President...
Okay, I've said my piece, let the BHO true believers begin their shrill, knee-jerk defense.
