How are these soundbytes cherry-picked out of context?  If I’m hearing them wrong, please translate and contextualize them for me.

I listened to the post-9/11 sermon- the entire sermon- and the sensationalized “faith footnote” is representative of an over-riding afro-ZINNtric worldview that is laced throughout his sermon.

More at Hugh Hewitt.

For those interested in listening to Reverend Wright interviewed on PBS by Bill Moyers, SallyJ2007 has it uploaded in 7 parts.

The Hewitt link to the extended transcript is especially helpful in debunking the false assertion that we are somehow taking Wright’s words out of context:

There may be times when I am tempted to cherry pick goodies from something like this, but as Wordsmith once said, you got the whole cherry tree here.

Each of the themes Wright introduces is laced with the same blame America, hate America crapola that was so prominent in the clips of his sermons that have been a regular feature on radio and television.

Now you know why Bill Moyers didn’t share an extended excerpt from Wright’s sermons. If he had, he wouldn’t be able to continue promulgating the LIE that Wright is being taken out of context.

Wow… short thread, eh? I see you got *big* response to the “calling all Obama supporters” headline here. LOL

I would guess that means either there are no BHO supporters, or they are at a loss of words for explanation.

Then again, most can’t tell you why they want to vote for him anyway.

Yeah, you have that right Mata. You’re probably right about me bothering to try to debate with the BHO “true believers” out there too. I have this stubborn penchant for not allowing radical propaganda and double-standards to pass without comment.
But, it definitely says something that when faced with a direct challenge, that the BHO followers suddenly fall silent and head for the hills. Given that very few of them could name his one legislative accomplishment, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised. As for why they want to vote for him; guess it could be those “hope” and “change” Jedi mind-tricks!
Looks like you’re been a busy man Wordsmith, sorry to see that nobody on the other side of the fence had the intellectual fortitude to take up your challenge; or maybe they knew it was a losing proposition.

Clearly Wright is a nutter – but what’s an ‘anti-religious communist’ who is also apparently a muslim like Obama doing having a hate-mongering Christian as a preacher?
