The Arrogance of Obama

Posted by: Mike's America @ 7:09 pm in Uncategorized  | 0 views

Last night’s debate cemented the fact that he is unqualified for and ill-prepared to be President!

As Curt pointed out earlier, the Obamatons were all whining like spoiled brats today! “Wah! Wah! Wah! the debate was sooo unfair to Obama!” Obama got hit hard last night in the presidential debate in Philadelphia with repeated questions that go to the heart of his character. And Democrats called that “trivial?” You would think after realizing how bamboozled they were by the Clintons, which some of them have only recently discovered, they would be loathe to make the same mistake again.

But then, YOU, dear reader (most of you anyway) would think. That’s a skill not yet required by the Obamatons.

The whining that most Obamatons engaged in today seemed to be based on orders from headquarters as the candidate himself engaged in yet another of his now famous variations of “if you dare to question me, you’re creating a distraction from the issues.”

He said:

“Last night, I think we set a new record because it took us 45 minutes before we even started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people. It took us 45 minutes!”

“Forty-five minutes before we heard about health care. Forty-five minutes before we heard about Iraq,” he continued. “Forty-five – 45 – minutes before we heard about jobs. Forty-five minutes before we heard about gas prices.”

Obama Doesn’t Get It!

What the arrogant and defensive Obama doesn’t seem to understand is that Americans won’t trust him to address these other issues that he claims to care so passionately about if we can’t be certain about his character. And up to now we haven’t learned very much about the man except that he gives great speeches (sometimes) and people swoon.

The last time people trusted a man with supreme power who gave great speeches where people swooned we ended up with the Holocaust and nearly 60 million people dead in World War II.

No, I am not saying Obama is Hitler. Heck, he’s too left wing for that. Stalin maybe. But we sure can’t hand the keys to the White House over to a man who insists that we have no business inquiring into his character.

Especially when what we have learned thus far about his background leads many of us to have deep suspicions.

And here’s a counterpoint video which should drive home the matter:

its all about how he is being attacked, he is self centered, he is a sissy. i do love how they are fighting and fighting each other, they are making themselves look like jackasses. they are both power hungery and think they are superior to all others. i can’t wait until this over and we can get on with life. i am tired of hearing about how they are both being bullied by the press and how in reality he is being favored. makes me crazy.

He would like to dismiss the first 45 minutes of that debate last night, because he had to actually answer for himself, his words and his actions. The company he keeps is a direct reflection of who he is. The fact that he can’t answer such questions without getting defensive speaks volumes.
And now I see Chairman Dean wants all the superdelegates to make up their minds now. Just as Obama is looking worse with each passing day. I’m loving it!

Let’s send Obama to England and let the ministers grill him like they grill their PMs. Even as president he is going to be grilled by everyone. He wouldn’t stand a chance.

Also note that Obama has trouble with the issues themselves. Look at the speech Dan presented. He is 4 1/2 minutes into his speech and has yet to get to any issue. Most of his speeches are even worse, with them getting thrown in at the end of his speeches almost as an afterthought.

And Obama keeps talking about high gas prices as if he has a CLUE on what to do about them. It’s the DEMOCRATS who consistenty prevent us from using the oil resources we have right here in the U.S.A. which could be recovered without any harm to the environment. Even during the worst of Hurricane Katrina, when so many oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico were destroyed there was NO environmental damage. Had their been ONE oil soaked beach you would have seen a thousand pictures of it on every channel and in in every newspaper and magazine.

Democrats are bitching about high gas prices and Democrats are the reason prices are so high. Let Exxon/Mobil use some of their profits to start drilling in every spot on this map where you see green:

Dan, I love that video you posted! Made me think back to the first time I saw Aliens.
Sgt. Obama: Look into my eye Clinton!
See, BHO would love to pretend like character and judgment have nothing to do with the Presidency. When in fact a large number of Americans indicate that it’s a key feature they examine when selecting a President. This is probably due to the Presidency being an individual office, people are more looking for someone they can identify with and trust. Whereas Congress is a large body that is mostly concerned with passing laws and people care more about the “positions” their perspective lawmakers take.
Of course the other reason BHO objects to “character” type questions is because he knows very well that he’s weak on them; that and it’s difficult to incorporate his usual “hope” and “change” bromides on the “issues” per se. I suppose he’s also distressed that none of the debate moderators fainted or began crying for the cameras. Of course his cult members, er supporters, ate it up when he went into the whole “record” gag about the debate. Given that Howard Dean’s a fellow traveler, I’m not surprised he’s suddenly pushing to have all super-delegates commit their votes; he knows better than anyone what a “Dean Scream” looks and feels like…

Well, I said it in my last comment on another post below; Obama’s supporters are a bunch of whiners and crybabies who think that we’re all supposed to sit back and let them carry their guy on their shoulders to victory. If Obama can’t handle a few questions they don’t like now, what do they think will happen if he actually gets elected? That the White House press corps will only serve up softballs every day?

This guy is completely unfit to be president.

Ha! This as how all politicians (and their supporters) react to media criticism. It’s not being a “crybaby”, it’s gaming the refs. McCain (justifiably) did them same thing with the New York Times.

Fit Fit: Look beyond the Obamaton’s whining for a moment. The pattern here is clear. Everytime Obama is criticized he claims it is a “distraction” (looks how many times he has used that word in this context) from the issues.

Tom Redhunter nailed it. The Obamatons think that just because they are so blind to the nature of this man that the rest of us should accept the lies as well.

But not all of us are as stupid as the Obamatons.

Whenever McCain gets criticized (if they ever get around to it) it won’t be called a distraction but “Drive-by Liberal media” bias. There will be just as much whining that will come from the right.

Calling people stupid does not further a intelligent discussion. I have no problem with anyone slinging insults, I just think you should try to elevate it to more of a level that W.F. Buckley Jr. would approve of.

“I won’t insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said”.

Fit Fit: I do think cult followers like the Obamatons are STUPID! Too stupid to think for themselves and see past the empty rhetoric and lies.

You’re attempt to get me off point here and play another of those lame equivalence cards won’t work. The issue here isn’t so much how dumb the whiny Obamatons are, but how Obama attempts to claim that any inspection of his character is a “distraction.”

Mike,

You will likely have a frustrating life if you simplify your worldview into assuming those who see things differently are stupid and you alone can see the truth.

Fit: Where did I say or imply that I “alone can see the truth?”

I understand your evident and transparent desire to hide from the facts of the post here. But it doesn’t change the facts.

Hard for you to face up to it, but Obama is toast!

Mike,

There is very little in the way of facts in the post. I see opinions.

This is a fact:

nearly 60 million people dead in World War II

This is an opinion:

the Obamatons were all whining like spoiled brats today

It is my opinion that you are unaware of the difference.

I’m not whining about anything. I am trying to encourage you to have a more meaningful discussion. Was the purpose of your blog entry for discussion or to start an echo chamber?

I for one had no problem with the debate questions. The only one I see as trivial is about the lapel flag. I agree there is an overreaction to the debate. However, I disagree that this is something unique to Obama or his supporters. I see it all the time on both sides.

>>The only one I see as trivial is about the lapel flag.>>

Not so trivial. However the reason it isn’t trivial isn’t his patriotism, as is frequently stated. His statement was that he objected to wearing the lapel pin as a substitute for patriotism so as a statement of his objection, he removed it. Now, we could disagree with his point about patriotism, but that’s what he said. He objected, and he responded by doing something. He also sat in a church listening to the “hate Whitey” sermons of Rev.Wright, and he socialized (even if not “regularly”) and sat on boards with Ayers … and did what? nothing. Exactly nothing. Why not? either he wimped out, or he didn’t object. Neither response is particularly desireable in a president.

Let’s face it, these questions have been asked on blogs all over. The debates aren’t supposed to be a liberal love fest. Republicans and Independents are watching as well and forming their opinions about candidates who could very well be the next POTUS. Obama was given a chance to answer these questions and personally, I think he failed miserably. Judging from the WHINING coming from the Obamanation, they think he failed miserably as well. I wonder how many realize they have been hoodwinked.

Fit fit: Surely you can’t compare this to the NYT article on McCain and lets not even bring up Dan Rather. These are legit questions that were asked of Obama. Some may find them “trivial” but I feel they go to character of a man we really no little else about.
