UNICEF said 1-2 million, but who cares? I mean, Saddam was contained, and even though that “containment” compelled UBL to restart AQ and start killing Americans…that’s irrelevant. So much better that Saddam was “contained.” Exit question: if it cost 500,000 or 1,000,000 or 2,000,000 in just 3 years (1993-1996 when the interview was done), then how many would have died had the US not invaded and continued its death by “containment” policies by 2008?

Thank goodness the Clintons and the UN saved everyone with its oil-for-food program.

Curious, was this before or after Leslie Stahl interviewed 1993World Trade Center bomber Yasin who was living freely in Iraq with a pension from Saddam?

Man, what sleazeballs served in the Clinton administration. And most of them are unrepentant sleazeballs today.
