Saddam - Regime Of Terror V

Posted by: Curt @ 8:39 pm in Pre-Invasion, Videos  | 0 views

This documentary explores America’s military engagement in Iraq, Iraq’s links to global terrorism, and in particular, the under-reported acts of atrocity committed directly by or under the command of Saddam Hussein.

Central to the story are eyewitness accounts and never-before-seen footage of chemical attacks, murders and torture leveled against the population of Iraq dating from Saddam’s corrupt rise to power and spanning more than two decades. In addition to the stories told by the survivors of Saddam’s regime, the film draws on the study, experience and objective viewpoints of academic historians. Dr. Victor Davis Hanson, Senior Fellow of the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and Dr. Judith Mendelsohn Rood, Chair of the Department of History, Government and Social Science at Biola University, offer a picture of regional history and a social and political context for the personalities and events that have stirred conflict in the Middle East for centuries and have polarized public opinion in the West for generations.

Part VI to follow.
