Let me tell you, doing political grunt work in one of the late-primary states is not a real easy job to get motivated for. And that's not just because I support Paul; if I were a McCain supporter, I'd also be scratching my head and wondering whether my efforts made any difference. At any rate, I'm not packing it in yet. It's true that most people (including many of the Ron Paul faithful, who were angry) would read the quoted email as a concession of defeat. But it also includes the line '<i>that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get</i>', which I prefer to focus on. But I am happy to see that Paul has shelved the idea of a third-party run, since that would both have been self-defeating and left me deeply conflicted in November. To answer your question about who I will vote for in '08 - I will vote for the Republican nominee.. But if you think I'll be out drumming up support for John McCain in fifteen degree weather (like I was today for Paul), you can think again.
