Scott and Randy, thank you both for your service! Good luck in your bid for a Senate position in Idaho, Scott Syme.

From Duane Patterson:

A good conservative, retired Col. Allen West, is running in South Florida for the Clay Shaw seat. You can learn more about his campaign here.

On the negative side, very sad news this afternoon that John Shaddegg of Arizona, one of the brightest conservative stars in the House of Representatives, suddenly announced this evening that he is resigning from the House at the end of this term. He will be missed.

Randy is a good friend who has been a strong supporter of me in my bid for the US Senate position in Idaho. He also is a very intelligent and honest man who served 3 times in Iraq.

While Idaho is probably not in jepordy of losing the Senate position to a Democat, my main competition in the Republican primary is a career politician who has no idea how to deal with the war on terror. Not only that but he and his children have never served in the military. I believe at this momemt in history people want to know their leaders lead by example and have put themselves in harms way to serve the country.

Scott Syme served in Iraq with me and is running for the Senate seat in Idaho. Not only is Scott a very intelligent and honest man, he believes one of his strong points is he has a narrow stance when occupying a stall in an airport bathroom!

This is the area we must fight for. Both houses. We HAVE to get as many seats as possible to offset the harm that will be imposed on us from the top. I implore all Republicans and Independents to vote the down ticket in November.
