And then since the government is paying health care, they can begin to regulate various behaviors because they cost money. So imagine at some point in the future that Republicans want to shut down the government health care and so the people who work there start delaying treatment to Republicans. And what if the government says you can no longer have cake and ice cream at birthday parties because the population is too obese or that you can't buy peanut butter any more because there are too many allergic reactions. I don't want the government or politicians anywhere near medical care. I don't want politicians or partisans deciding who lives and who dies.
