Don’t Panic About Global Warming

Posted by: Curt @ 10:35 pm in Environment  | 0 views

Here is a very short concise rundown of why the “science” of man-made global warming is not settled from The Climate Skeptic:

A longer 9 minute version is here.

Wadda ya mean ‘DON’T PANIC”? I’ve already panicked, what am I supposed to do now? I’m heavily invested to make a financial killing when Earth is nothing but a burned out cinder.

AL! … Al! … damn, there’s never a Guru when you need one.

Yes it is true that question has not been settled. It is sort of like evolution or the age of the earth being less than 10,000 years old.
Many people also do not believe these scientific “hoaxes”

Indigo,

See what you get for investing in the futures market.

Though seriously, CO2 lev els even now are so insignificant that they are not used in engineering calculations for atmospheric gases. The predominant gases are still nitrogen and oxygen. This is just ONE of the many holes poked into the “man made global warming” myth.

Another would be the grape vinyards and colonies on Greeenland over 1000 years ago or silver mines in Sweden being discovered as glacial ice recedes. In other words, it has been MUCH warmer in the very recent geological past than it is today. It has also been much colder. Such is the current climate cycle.

The disgusting part is that the left owns this issue and declares anyone opposed to the Church of Gore as someone who WANTS to pollute the world and use all the resources NOW. Kind of hard to debate fanatics like that on a rational level.

Even more ChrisG. For a thousand years archiologists and historians have been looking for the Norse villages on Greenland the legends said were there. A few years ago just when they were about to declare the villages never existed, the ice started melt. And guess what, there were the villages. They were UNDER the ice right where the stories said they’d be. Now, how did those villages get under the ice? Huh, that’s a stumper.

I don’t understand it. If there is a debate, first why the recent natural catastrophes. But let’s leave those behind, if we are going to err, why not err on the safe side. Because if the right is wrong then by the time we realize it will probably be too late. If the Let is wrong then we can continue as it is. The point is that there is no return if we are wrong about this.

Basing far reaching societal and economic policies on the failed hypothesis of “man made global warming” is NOT erring on the “safe side”, it is suicide for 1st World Nations and our people. 3rd World and Emerging Nations are not included in Kyoto or any other “punish America” policies. These are the real polluters. America makes pollution, but we also lead the world in cleaning it up. I have been to most every continent and many countries around the world and have seen this.

Once the policies dictated by the new religion of man made global warming take effect, there is no “continue as it is”. And even if the geologists, vulcanologists, engineers, etc who question the validity of the myth of man made global warming are, somehow, wrong, then the Earth will also compensate as it always has. The Earth is a dynamic, changing, system. Basing destructive and suicidal economic policies on what amounts to a nanosecond’s worth of observation using highly suspect techniques is not a method for success.
