Conservatives, on the other hand, DO and HAVE vocally chastised the Republican party on Amnesty, not having the spine to stand up to leftist fillibustering in Congress, not behaving like a majority party when they had the numbers (which in the end is why the conservatives did not vote in 2006). We were jkust as critical of President Bush's expansion of government when he moved with Ted Kennedy on Education "reform", signed the prescription drug expansions, and pushed amnesty for illegals.
