Another plug for Fred – this time from Melanie Morgan, conservative pro-troop leader. Here’s a blurb announcing her push for Thompson as part of a passionate column she wrote today plugging Fred – on the eve of the South Carolina primary:

CONSERVATIVE PRO-TROOP LEADER ENDORSES
FRED THOMPSON ON EVE OF SOUTH CAROLINA PRIMARY

Melanie Morgan, chairman of the nation’s largest pro-troop organization, MoveAmericaForward.org…, radio talk show host on KSFO 560 AM – San Francisco, author of “American Mourning” and conservative columnist has endorsed Sen. Fred Thompson for President.

Writing in her new column, “The Complete Conservative” Morgan urged South Carolina Republicans to vote for Thompson:

“For the sake of this nation, I’m hoping that on Saturday the people of the Palmetto State punch the ballot for Thompson (no hanging chads, please).”

That’s not fair to Fred – he still polls in double digits nationally (and in SC, up next).
If you want to see a *real* mismatch between web support and actual polls, look to Ron Paul.

My little blog is also a supporter of Fred Thompson and has been so for a considerable length of time. You might also like to know that there is a widget that you can add to your site that lists blogs that support Fred. You should add your name to this list!

All this support on the web and The Fred! in single digit figures. What is up with that?
I support Fred and have donated to the campaign. If he’s the candidate I will vote for him, and the last time I voted was for a guy by the name of Ronald Reagan.
Has our country changed that much since then that a true conservative gets only single digit figures?
