They both speak clearly and rationally about issues I care about instead of mouthing platitudes and doublespeak as all the other candidates do. I don't think anyone but Fred Thompson will be able to beat the obamessiah should he get the dhimmi nod. Which by the way, will only be because of his "race". I heard Jed Babbin multiple time on the radio, and he has been all-in on Fred for a looong time. He talked up the Fred inevitability factor long before people even knew much about Fred. Of course Jed always makes sense, he is absolutely the most thoughtful pundit you're likely to hear, but hey he is biased in a good way. Well no surprise here.
