JustADude: There are a couple of advantages to CoverItLive – it doesn’t require a refresh to keep up, everything flows through the host of the liveblog, and everything stays in a relatively-compact window.

The good ones have registered users only on their blogs and the interactions help in comprehension of the issues.

The bad ones open to the net and Paul Bots , foul mouthed kids and DU types just can’t resist a chance to poke somebody in the eye and then run home to tell mommie after they are booted.

Live blogs suffer from refreshing both the post the blog is commenting on itself or the comment thread which is hell to keep up with which was the last comment if the traffic is high.

I had a problem displaying the media library where I stored my audio clips from President Reagan.

Their system couldn’t recognize an older “AU” clip that is a favorite of Reagan fans:
