Another Key Conservative Endorsement For Fred!

Great news!

A late movement by Iowa conservatives toward the Fred Thompson campaign
was spotlighted by today’s announcement that noted Iowa conservative
leader, State Representative Gary Worthan, had endorsed the former
Senator from Tennessee.

Many Iowa conservatives have been
undecided and Worthan’s endorsement was an important one for the
Thompson campaign, which got a late start in the 2008 election process.

“Gary
Worthan was one of the key Iowa conservatives that had been undecided.”
stated Bob Haus, Iowa Executive Director for the Thompson campaign.
“Gary’s endorsement is one we were hoping to pick up in these days
leading up to the Iowa Caucuses. We’re humbled to get it.”

Haus
stated that the campaign expects to pick up more endorsements from Iowa
conservatives. Conservative support has been encouraging and “the
movement on the ground here seems to be toward Fred Thompson.”

Another one to add to the already steller list of endorsements from bloggers and politico’s:

John Hawkins of Rightwing News, Erick Erickson of RedState.Com, Pejman of RedState, Eugene Volokh of Volokh’s Conspiracy, Polipundit of Polipundit, Ala from Blonde Sagacity, Beth at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, Kender at Kender’s Musings, Gribbit at Gribbit’s Word, Bill Quick of Daily Pundit, Misha of Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiller, Bob Krumm, Brandon at Conservative Superiority, Curt at Flopping Aces, Darrell of Alpha Patriot, Jimmie of the Sundries Shack, Justin Higgins of Right on the Right, Kim du Toit, MacRanger of Macsmind, Rick Moran of Right Wing Nuthouse, Mike Hendrix of Cold Fury, Rob Port of Say Anything, Stix of Stix Blog, TraderRob of Opinipundit, William Dyer of Beldar Blog, Nate of Irate-Nation, William Teach of Pirate’s Cove, Tommy Oliver from Race 4 2008, Ray Robison, Frank J. at IMAO, Michele at Reformed Chicks Babbling, The Discerning Texan, and Quilly Mammoth and Marcus Atrocious from Justbarkingmad

Not to mention Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), Former Sen. George Allen (R-VA), Former Sen. Al D’Amato (R-NY), Former Rep. J.C. Watts (R-OK), California State Sen. Tom McClintock, Rep. Steve King (R-IA), former CA State Senator Dick Mountjoy, and Tom Tancredo’s former Iowa State Chairman Bill Salier.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Pat Buchanan’s former Iowa campaign director for his 1996 run,
Loras Schulte
:

To all my friends,

First, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, but for those of you
who live in Iowa , I need not tell you that in little more than a
handful of days … we will make a monumental decision at our Caucuses:
who leaves Iowa with the chance to gain their Party’s nomination for
President, and all that means to the future of our Country. Because I
sit on RPI’s State Central Committee, I have remained neutral in this
year’s Caucus process, but now I feel compelled to join with the likes
of: Cong. Steve King, Bill Sailer and what appears to be the entire
Iowa leadership team of Tom Tancredo, Representatives Kraig Paulsen,
Jeff Kaufmann and Sandy Greiner, and scores of other notable Iowa
Republicans in endorsing the candidacy of Senator Fred Thompson.

Great company to be in!

I saw thompson on fox last night talking about Bhutto. He looked like hell. maybe he fell asleep in the tanning bed

Now is the time to double down, both with contributions and campaign aid. Work hard folks, Fred is the only RIGHT answer.

I put that video on my thread yesterday and disagree that he looked like hell. Looked good imo.

Hey, you guys forgot about Quilly Mammoth and Marcus Atrocious from Justbarkingmad.com endorsing him… harrumph!

So we only get three or four hits a day… we’re still technically a blog after all!

Laters.

Marcus

P.S. I just donated $100 to Fred’s campaign. Keep your fingers crossed for a Thompson victory in Iowa.

Fred Thompson is a terrible actor.

Perpetually ill-at-ease in front of the camera, his head shakes ceaselessly sending tsunamis of flesh rolling along his ample jowels. He clears his throat so frequently you’d think he had a toothpick wedged in his glottis crosswise. He ought to consider a tracheotomy. He doesn’t smile often. When he does children cry.

When speaking off-the-cuff, his deliberate pacing turns sound bites into feature-length films. When posing for pictures his face betrays that he’d rather be getting acupuncture on his eyeball. His towering frame guarantees that most impromptu TV shots will angle up, distorting his head into a shape reminiscent of a honey-baked ham.

In the game of presidential campaigning, where appearing slick and unruffled while wading through a pool of mutant pirahna is a prerequisite, Fred Thompson just can’t do it.

where appearing slick and unruffled while wading through a pool of mutant pirahna is a prerequisite,

I think we’ve had enough of “slick”. Which is exactly why I have supprted Fred! since before he officially got into the campaign

A Ron Paul supporter talking smack about Fred….shocker!

Sorry Marcus, going to add you right now….thanks for the heads up.

Thanks man!

Gearing Up for the race

It is looking more and more likely that Frad Thompson is going to get in the race. I think he would be a great candidate and president. I think it would be great if he teamed up with Guliani and
