Why does this need to be political? I’ve followed her interviews, and Jamie Leigh doesn’t really state political views anywhere along the line.

If I think the neighborhood elementary school is great, should I rush to the defense of the guy who fixed its roof when he’s accused of a crime? How does that work?

The company seems to operate on unacceptable terms. There are multiple accusers. Why shouldn’t we just drop them; kill the contract so the real issues can surface?

In the end, it won’t matter. After I grauate college with a Bachelors in Kinesiology then I will pass Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal Academy and I will become a Navy Seal Team Corpsman as well as; a Rifle Man and a Charlie Eighteen Engineer. So I won’t care who supports me, I will have the only support I will need for the rest f my life. That is the support from other members of the Armed Forces who I will serve with. Sue and many, many others think it is the woman’s job to prove her case. That is actually the prosecutor’s job. If the prosecutor is embarrassed or has other things to do, he drags his feet. That is what happened here. This women will get nothing from our courts.

You did not say “KBR”, though you brought up “Sharia law” and that I supported it which is disgusting. I have not seen anyone call for three or more male witnesses to testify for her or call for her to be stoned.

Are there issues with the courts on this case? Absolutly! I have conducted sexual misconduct investigations and by law they are maximum priority in the US Military at least. I literally gave my company command to my XO and investigated a case in another company. I got 2 weeks to come forth with findings by the regulations. In actuality, I only had less than 10 days. The investigation of this case became my sole job for the period. I am not sure what the DOS standards are for their prosecuter, but I doubt “taking a vacation” plays into them. However, seeing the DOS “work” in Iraq, I am not surprised. Disgusted, but not surprised.

However, as I continually stated (even using short, bullet points), past history goes against her as too many of these cases are found to be lies with many being politically driven. I also brought up that Iba Sina Hospital could be criminally liable (with nothing to gain from a cover up) if they did not report/track this case properly. The DOS could also be held liable for improper proceedures and subject to an agency wide investigation.

Why were US Service Members who attacked civilians so openly prosecuted, yet this never even showed up until now? Is Military Justice that much more efficient than the DOS? Maybe the case will vett this out and the DOS will be investigated until it is fully reformed…. Probably not, but time will tell.

The points that Curt brought up didn’t defame anybody’s character and last time I checked, you may make comments freely without doing harm to another person’s reputation. Just a friendly reminder, in this country we believe in keeping people who are accused of a crime innocent until proven guilty.
