-Joy Behar, introducing Ron Paul, anti-war Republican presidential candidate and specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, as a guest on The View
Although they may share allied positioning over Iraq, it would appear ArPee broke lances with Joy and Whoopi over the issue of abortion. Suddenly, his obstetrics/gynecology credentials no longer qualify him for being “two treats in one”.
I did like his statement at the CNN/YouTube GOP presidential debate:
I’m an O.B. doctor, and I practiced medicine for 30 years, and I of course never saw one time when a medically necessary abortion had to be done.
This isn’t the first time that Ron Paul has been brought up on The View. I only made it through 5 minutes of this earlier mention of Ron Paul, which includes a very intelligent and informative discussion on terrorism.

A former fetus, the “wordsmith from nantucket” was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1968. Adopted at birth, wordsmith grew up a military brat. He achieved his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (graduating in the top 97% of his class), where he also competed rings for the UCLA mens gymnastics team. The events of 9/11 woke him from his political slumber and malaise. Currently a personal trainer and gymnastics coach.
The wordsmith has never been to Nantucket.
I also liked that comment by Ron Paul. He’s a dip, no doubt, and completely clueless on Iraq. His inability to convey his hopes and intellectual reality with fact is his biggest drawback, but he is right on abortion.
Ron Paul wiped the floor with those NAG’s

Hey Amy Proctor – I guess the way Iraq is going is good, huh? And you think RP is clueless?

And so do I.
When it comes to foreign policy? Yes.
What…are you clueless or something?

John Ryan: What are you going to do when the bubble bursts?
Ron Paul is NOT a viable national candidate. You know it and I know it. He can’t win a single primary. You know it and I know it.
The question is what will you do when reality finally dawns upon you?
As for Rononymouse: Iraq is currently meeting the conditions President Bush has long defined as the terms for Victory. Most importantly, both Sunni and Shia have turned on Al Queda and allied themselves with us to defeat extremism of all stripes.
And the entire Muslim world has watched it happen live on television. Osama is being seen to be defeated by the Great Satan.
None of that would have happened if you isolationist/appeasers had their way.
Sucks being WRONG doesn’t it?
