It's humorous when I read things saying 'Oh he wont return the supremacists money of course all the wack-jobs are with Ron Paul' when actually the white supremacist has every liberty to be a white supremacist just as the rest of the country has taken every liberty to think they are a wack-job. That's the great thing about Ron Paul...His whole style, his whole political career has been nothing but fair and equal treatment to any group of people. Talking about same-sex marraige (as another example if you aren't clear on the idea of liberty yet) he doesn't want to interfere in the free association of two individuals in a social, sexual, or religious sense, furthermore he is supportive of all voluntary associations and people can call it whatever they want.
I don't understand where most of our country has gone... It's as if the masses just don't get it. So many of you are hypocritical and give stereotypes to everything. It's interesting to me that the world is moving towards one world order, and at the same time peoples minds are closed off to only what they can concieve, which is the same as what their neighbor concieves and what their neighbor concieves. I guess I'm just a wack-job, because I'll be voting for Ron Paul. I still believe in Liberty being rebirthed in the United States of America.

"Who would vote for RP it seems. Speaks volumes about the candidate. He has the white supremacists, the twoofers and America hating lefties like Vigilante."

More spurious comments from a Bush Hack and EPAer. So Ron Paul takes 500 dollars (unknowingly) from an opportunistic racist, repudiates the racist's views and keeps his money (classic) and you get your panties in a bunch. You guys spend more time trying to discredit Paul and his supporters (which certainly won't help the Republican candidate in the General, it makes me wonder what you are afraid of. BTW--what's the current rate for hackery these days?

<i>"To Hate Bushis to love America."</i>

It's official. Hate is officially the left's only political platform.

You've poisoned yourself with hate Vigilante.

Get some therapy.

Hate is not love; not even in your twisted evil world.

Another endorsement for Hillary from the Ron Paul Club! What a surprise.

Perhaps the Prostitutes for Paul that are holding their funraiser (misspelling intentional) at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch, ought to get together with the Strippers for Ron Paul which Tucker Carlson has been getting lap dances with:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPfPnF4Mbog" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPfPnF4Mbog</a>

P.S. bbartlog: How do you feel about being in the same club as an America hating nut like the commenter directly above your last one?

Ron Paul may only have a 3% chance in winning the GOP nomination, but he's the only chance I would vote against Hillary in the November 08 election.

<i>Sure there are rules against a candidate just taking his left over campaign fund, but somehow I doubt that's never been circumvented.</i>

I doubt someone who refuses his own Congressional pension, returns part of his own office's budget every year, and refused to participate in the federal student loan program on principle is going to suddenly turn corrupt. Paul is a true believer (full to the gills on his own Kool-aid, from your perspective). He's not in it for the money.

<i>The ridicule he has exposed himself to has given the MSM more than enough reason to dismiss those that support smaller government, less taxation and the rest as just a bunch of loons. </i>

In a way, you've paid Paul a backhanded compliment here. Because if there were another candidate among the current Republicans who spoke convincingly for 'smaller government, less taxation and the rest', Paul wouldn't be so closely associated with those things, and his candidacy couldn't by itself bring credit or discredit to those ideas.
Anyway, I don't see how Paul's policies constitute an appeasement of radical Islam. We won't be giving them any presents, unless you count 'not launching a preemptive attack' as some sort of gift. Our current foreign aid to Egypt (which Paul would end) looks a lot more like appeasement from where I'm sitting: we agreed to pay them what, $1.3 billion a year in order to buy lasting peace as part of the Camp David accords?
Further, you also need to look at motives when assessing whether something is appeasement. I think we can agree that our removal of troops from Saudi Arabia, while on Osama's list of demands, did not constitute appeasement because it was done for our own reasons. Similarly, even if Paul removed troops from the Middle East, it would be in the context of a worldwide military drawdown including Okinawa, Germany, Korea and so on. Given that this has long been on his list of policy proposals I don't think it could be construed as appeasement of any particular enemy.

Ron Paul is a freak and attracts freaks as supporters. The nut and his uber-aggressive net followers who constantly attempt to distort reality belong in one big mental institution together. His believe in live and let live works really well among the Amish but it wont's work as foreign policy against the somewhat more physically aggressive nuts in the Middle East, nor will it work against China and Russia. I can't wait for this Sideshow Ron to be delegated to the scrap heap of mutant history.

It helps that my feed reader tells me who posts what there. It gets especially confusing when you look at the HA Headlines; the only way to tell who posted what is through the feed.

Besides, Bryan's the one that doesn't mind being on the "fun" end of the camera, while AP steadfastly refuses even more than I do.

I've come to the conclusion Ron Paul is more worried about the size of his campaign fund than actually being elected. This is why he'll pander to cut-n-run, white supremacists, 9/11 truthers, ufo nuts, and now ladies of the night.

He gets all their cash. And because he is liked by the left for being anti-Iraq and an annoyance to republicans during the primaries, he's not brought to account for it. If he somehow did become a serious Democratic challenger, they'd use those associations to destroy him in a heartbeat. Paul knows it.

Sure there are rules against a candidate just taking his left over campaign fund, but somehow I doubt that's never been circumvented.

Thanks Steve, I always seem to do that and get them two mixed up.

Who said Ron Paul was a white supremacist? I said he has lots of fans in the white supremacist movement.

If you're going to try to pass Ron Paul off as a white supremacist, maybe you could at least pretend to try to be fair and mention that he's also the most popular Republican candidate with black voters.
