George Clooney To Star In GI Joe Movie

Posted by: Curt @ 11:39 am in Celebrity Idiots  | 2 views

First came news that GI Joe would become some kind of “international” superhero instead of an American hero in the film adaptation.

Now this news should make you cringe even more:

Hollywood actor George Clooney is set to take the lead role in the forthcoming G.I. Joe movie, according to reports. The Michael Clayton star has beat actor Mark Wahlberg as favorite to star in the movie adaptation of the action TV series.

According to Moviehole.net…, Clooney has abandoned his role in director Joe Carnahan’s film White Jazz in favor of appearing as the action hero.

A source tells the website, “Rumor is that one of the reasons he (Clooney) walked away from White Jazz was not only due to scheduling conflicts but also because he is looking for a blockbuster to star in.

Well isn’t that special.

Future Entertainment headline and tag:

“G.I. Joe Blockbuster Movie Bombs at Box Office”

‘Demonstrating that movie-going audiences aren’t interested in seeing pro-war soldier movies, GI Joe, starring George Clooney as a UN soldier, had a mediocre opening….’

Buzz,

How true. The media will write the headline and not even think about putting two and two together. The truth being that people reject Hollywierd’s latest attempt to slander the US Military and destroy an entertainment icon from our childhood.

I expect to see the leftist hate America fest “Lions for Lambs” flop also with similar headlines.

The casting would only make sense if he were Destro.

That just re-enforces why I haven’t been in a movie theatre in years. This one will be on the rent and copy for a dollar table within weeks of release.

Maybe he can star along side conviced felon Mark Wahlberg just as he did in past movies.

Link

Title I of the Gun Control Act of 1968 prohibits certain classes of persons from “purchasing, receiving or transporting firearms or ammunition in interstate commerce.” Among these are persons “convicted of or under indictment for a felony … Such persons correspondingly are prohibited from purchasing or otherwise acquiring any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped in interstate commerce.”

Furthermore, this shows that Hollywood studios violate the laws.

Under 18 USC Chapter 44, Sec. 922, “Unlawful Acts”,
“It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person – (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;”

This means that every time “Marky Mark” touches a firearm, he commits another felony. But to Hollywood and Democrats, laws, ethics, and common sense do not apply. Little O/T, but relevant in the hypocracy of Hollywierd.

I predict that the new “GI Joe” movie will be one of the lowest grossing movies…ever.

This is what happens when Hollywood wants to play to an international audience. I don’t know why they would pick GI Joe though and in the end they might not. The UN is a volunteer force so the GI part will be confusing. A white guy soldier named Joe will be declared Jewish in the Arab part of the world bring back bad memories to the East Asian part of the world. The UN part will not be accepted in Africa, the Middle East and parts of Europe.

Look at the bright side – if he does this, we’ll find out if he’s really able to act or if he’s always been nothing but a “pretty boy”…
