Much of the data set used to bolster the global warming claim is a textbook case of “cookbooking” data to fit a premise. The “hockey stick” graph is the representation of that manipulation.

As stated in a comment in a previous post on this topic, if I manipulate data in this manner and misrepresent it, I would be certainly without a job, and likely face some sort of professional sanction and/or legal consequences.

Sidenote: As for Jeff’s amphibian concerns, a connection between “climate change” and a loss of amphibian species is a giant leap. Water quality has more to do with how well amphibians thrive.
