		<description>Could be,
I took the transcript from here
&lt;a href="http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2007/10/sweet_dem_drexel_debate_extra.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2007/10/sweet_dem_drexel_debate_extra.html&lt;/a&gt;

then copy/pasted it to MSWord, did a find/replace on Bush and it came up with 47, did the same with this administration and it came up with 7, 54ttl. I didn't count the Republican Congress (though that one made me laugh hard. Reading between the lines it was an acknowledgment that the Democratic Party Congress of which they're members has been moot since last November.

		<description>Scott: I counted 40 mentions of "President Bush" "George Bush" or "Bush" but Democrats, mostly Hillary tossed in "Republican Congress" "Republicans" and "Dick Cheney" enough times your figure is on the mark.

		<description>The problem of a Hillary nominee for Republicans is that people are not going to vote "for" Hillary. Believe me, I've had this discussion with my moonbat friends and family. They can't stand her, but they've already started to rationalize voting for her for two reasons:

1) they see her as the lesser of two evils as Republicans aren't combating the images that Dems, leftist sites, and msm are stitching to them. Rudy is seen as a trick pony by one trick jackasses. Fred is seen as aloof, Mitt as spinning more than Hillary, and McCain as all four.
2) the "we get two for the price of one" or "it'd be great to have Bill back in there" idea.

Republicans are not countering the image wars already being waged, and they've not even started to address the idea of why it would be bad to have Bill back in the White House. Until they do, the Democrats will run roughshod.

		<description>Hillary was definitely off her game last night. She's not a natural political talent like her husband, but she was more competent in previous debates. I swing between hoping she wins the Dem nomination (because she'd be one of the easiest Dems to beat, IMO) and hoping that one of the better Dems does so that I don't have to worry about having her in the White House.

		<description>Democrats pointed fingers at "Bush" or "This administration" 54 times last night. The only topic that beat it was Iran (mentioned 68 times, but a few of those were from the moderators), and in response to every question about Iran...the Presidential wannabees focused on opposing President Bush (even specifically saying those words on several occasion) rather than answer the question about what THEY WILL DO if elected. Last night's debate was about Democrats hiding from themselves in the shadow of George W Bush.

Dodd, looked good, but still a senator not a President

Biden, looked much better, made good points about Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan/Pakistan being one problem tied together rather than just an Iran problem and just an Iraq problem

Edwards, looked whiny, but was a yippy attack dog.

Hillary, nailed. She spun and danced, and ducked, and dived, and in doing so proved her opponents' point: she stands for everything and nothing at all

Obama, did well, probably "won," but showed a remarkable weakness, staccato, parsed, hugely rehearsed, even delicate at times debate practice. I mean, the guy was so careful not to look contradictory or adversarial that I was left thinking how an Obama vs Huckabee debate would actually leave the Arkansas gov looking like a hardass.

Kucinich, ahhhh Dennis (why do they always have to be from my state). Hey, give the guy credit. At least he was honest, and laugh as the other candidates did...he went home with the hot spouse (chicks dig moonbats?!). Besides, someone's gotta take Sharpton's place this time.

Richardson, easily the biggest set of cajones demonstrated on the stage. The man who was made UN ambassador at one of the 4 times when the Clinton Admin almost invaded Iraq, instead of going to the UN and helping quell the situation...the guy got on a plane with NBC's Andrea Mitchell (yes, Greenspan's wife, a pretty valuable passenger) and flew to KABUL to personally meet with Mullah Omar and negotiate permission from the Taliban to get gas pipelines through Afghanistan so US energy corporations could get some more moola. The guy then stood on the stage last night and boasted about how he was the best negotiator up there. I guess it could be true, but he's clearly a guy interested in negotiating for special interest more than American national security.

Yawn, a Bush bash fest, and little more. Sooner or later these people are going to realize (and I think they're just now starting to) that they're running against a Republican who is also campaigning on a theme of change in DC.

Unless the msm stands up and starts asking extremely tough questions, and forcing answers rather than allowing spin, we're on a path to another Gore/Bush White bread vs Wonder bread campaign in 08.
