Waxman Spends Taxpayer Money To Help Democrats In ‘08

Posted by: Curt @ 10:48 am in Politics  | 0 views

Since when is it ok to use taxpayer funds to start an investigation whose sole purpose is helping on political party in the election? (h/t The Jawa Report)

Rep. Henry Waxman has asked his investigative staff to begin compiling reports on Limbaugh, and fellow radio hosts Sean Hannity and Mark Levin based on transcripts from their shows, and to call in Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin to discuss the so-called “Fairness Doctrine.”

“Limbaugh isn’t the only one who needs to be made uncomfortable about what he says on the radio,” says a House leadership source. “We don’t have as big a megaphone as these guys, but this all political, and we’ll do what we can to gain the advantage. If we can take them off their game for a while, it will help our folks out there on the campaign trail.”

Oh, I forgot, it’s a Democrat suggesting this so just ignore it

In modern “progressive” newspeak, it’s called “oversight” not censorship.

Add to the list of left-controlled media: print.

FAR more newspapers, magazines, and BOOKS lean left than do they right. Doubt it? Go to Borders with a notepad. Go to the newspaper/magazine section. On one page, list the lean rights, and on the other the lean lefts. Then go to the books. Find politics, history, and sections that cover issues with a political divide (healthcare, aging, etc). ALL are dominated by books that lean left-yes, even the religious section is dominated by the left…unless someone wants to claim that Wiccans are huge RNC contributors.

Waxman should be spending his time (and my money) finding a safe country for his family to flee to when the revolution hits (less than 5 years of Shrillary) because he will be high on the list for rope, tree, some assembly required. I”m just happy I have no relatives in democrat politics. Bad times are coming.
