<description>People like Dan come a dime a dozen. They have no conception of the real world. They think "hey, why doesn't Bush just nuke Iran and be done with it?" When in fact more is being done behind the scenes with Israel then any other President ever has done in recent history, or ever for that matter. Clinton would have begged Israel to hold off on Syria and called a peace summit, as would Gore or Kerry. Instead we were attacked and Bush took the fight to the enemy in not one but two countries.

Thats not good enough for jokers like Dan.

I guarantee you that if Bush gets intelligence that says Israel is about to get that nuke tomorrow he will not hesitate to take action. His prior history bears this out. He doesn't roll with the polls, or with public opinion.

'Cause if not, we're up the creek.

<description>Gee Dan, why don't you tell us what you really think?

Bush will indeed attack Iran before his term. I'd wager serious money on t.

If not, I owe you a coke.

		<description>Bush will not take action.

He's not man enough to do what needs to be done.

He's lost whatever appetite he ever had, which wasn't much, to grapple with and destroy the enemies of the United States.

Remember when he told us "help was on the way," but then went on to retard the natural growth of the armed forces during wartime.

Remember when he told us that he wouldn't make "distinctions between terrorists and states that support them," but then he went on to immerse himself in the sewer of Palestinian nationalism.

Remember when he told us that he "wasn't going to kick the can down the road, passing problems on to a subsequent administration," but that's exactly what he's doing with Iran.

Remember when he told he was "from the business world, and if you're not getting results, I'll find someone who can," but then went on to retain Tenet, promote Casey, and retain that insubordinate, treacherous Powell for how long.

This guy is out to lunch.

He's a disgrace.

He's embarrassed my party, he's embarrassed my country, {I'm mortified that I voted for him twice} he's refused to pursue the enemy with the clarity and ferocity required for victory. But victory is something that in his "long war" he's foregone.

He doesn't want victory. That's too much of a verdict passed by the West on islam.

So instead we get this incoherent "long war."

Here's a little rule of thumb. Every time that Bush says the war "will take decades," ADD A DECADE.

He's going to allow Iran to go nuke.

'Cause he hasn't the nerve for war, for the risks naturally attendant to war, because he doesn't understand war, or the making of war, or using the military to achieve political and cultural objectives.

Why else place surface to air batteries in Southeastern Europe, which did so much to piss off and irritate the hell out of the Russians. Why place batteries when you know that diplomacy is going to fail, and I'm going to have to order in my Strike Eagles. Uh?

The deployment of those batteries told us everything we needed to know about Bush and Iran.

His rhetoric is a clanging gong, that nobody in the region takes cognizance of.

He's a lame duck, he's got no political credit left, he's a verbal cripple, his communication team is the worst in modern times, he's got people like Rice and Hughes still working for him, hopelessly out of their depth, this guy isn't even thinking of going after the Iranians.

The Iranians laugh at him. They laugh and mock us.

They blow up Americans, they disfigure Americans, they maim Americans, right now, even as I'm blogging, there are Americans slowly navigating the corridors of Veterans' hospitals trying to accustom themselves to the prosthetic devices they'll be wearing the rest of their lives, .................. AND ALL BECAUSE OF THE IRANIANS.

Yet Bush, the Commander in Chief of American Armed Forces, does spit about it.

I don't know about you, but where I come from, a Commander who refuses to allow his men to pursue and destroy the enemy is a DEGENERATE.

And just a couple of days ago, I read that he blasted some Conservative columnists who met with him privately and urged him to go after Iran, and obliterate their Manhattan Project. He derided them later as "Mad Bombers."

This guy isn't going to do spit, save have some dopey smile on his face when Hillary is sworn in on January 21, 2009.

This pusillanimous Texan has become a degenerate, who is the biggest obstacle to the enactment of his own Bush Doctrine.

He should have leveled with himself and the American people years ago, told us he didn't have what it took anymore, and resigned.

He should have resigned, and let Cheney finish out the remainder of his term. He should have resigned in early 2006.

He's a disgrace.

And I'm being charitable this evening.

Maybe sometime I'll tell what I really think of a man who says we're in a war on terror, yet refuses to go after the foremost sponsor of muslim mayhem on the planet.
