Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs is abbreviated SIPA. Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies is abbreviated SAIS. Since you went to SAIS (or SIPA, I don't know which one you are actually referring to) and since you so passionately hate the "radical left", I would recommend that you learn the acronyms for these two prestigious institutions and double check your idiotic rants for typos before publishing them.

And recently the Army JAG corps wanted to go there and recruit for JAG officers from that bunch of rabble and some other colleges also.

Right just what we need in our JAG corps a bunch of liberal lawyer wantabees who blame America first.

I would hope they would recruit from conservative oriented law schools, but on the other hand can anybody name one school of law that fits that profile?

Probably the best thing to do is let President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak without protest. It wouldn't be the first time "Enemies of the U.S." were allowed to speak at a University. I don't think what he has to say is all that important, because i bet they are deeply hoping the Bush Administration will prevent the speech from taking place and then blaming the Bush Administration for preventing "alternative ideas."

If Ahmadinejad was allowed to speak without protest, the Bush Administration and conservatives would win points for supporting the First Ammendment and tolerance, while the Columbia community's loyalty to the U.S. and their view of the First Amendment would always be in question. This in turn would bash the University indirectly. The University wouldn't be able to directly respond because how could they? They would have to invite a conservative speaker and two things would happen. There would be protests (proving once again the community was intolerant) or the University would crack down on the protests and in turn they would look to be intolerant.

No problem DaMav.

It's clear that the only voices which will be heard at Columbia will be those who, like the radical left, hate the United States.

Remember that less than a year ago the "Columbia community" drove Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minutemen, from the stage in a violent act striking down free speech. The University's cowardly response was basically to do absolutely nothing to defend his right to present his viewpoint.

Perhaps if he had been denying the Holocaust and advocating the murder of millions of Jews he would have gotten a better reception. That seems to be the key to being treated with respect these days at Columbia.
