That's exactly what the hate America left of today was around in WW2. And of course they were around in another form as you suggest. Winston Churchill pointed out in his history of the 2nd World War how the Communists in both Britain and France worked to weaken and undermine any support for a strong deterrent to the Nazis. It was the same "no capitalist/imperialist war" crap we hear from Code Pink today. And as soon as the Soviet Union was attacked, Churchill describes how the very same people who were demanding Britain stay out of it turned on a dime and demanded they go full bore to save their ideological masters. Great ad! That’s exactly what the hate America left of today was around in WW2.
