Enough is Enough! Dems again run roughshod over House Rules and delete more records of their misdeeds!

Democrats agreed to form an extraordinary committee to investigate the stolen vote which occurred on the House Floor last Thursday. So you would have thought they might be extra careful not to make the tense situation any worse. Well, you might have thought. But that’s apparently something which escapes Democrats in the House of Representatives.

The same day Democrat Leader Steny Hoyer admitted "I do believe a mistake was made…and I regret it" Hoyer took to the House floor to defend against a Republican resolution to protest the conduct of Congressman Jack Murtha, whose much discussed strong arm tactics had been on display once again as he sat as the acting Speaker earlier in the day.

The resolution put forward by House Republicans is in the Congressional Record here. The last paragraph states: "Resolved, That by his actions on August 3, 2007, the gentleman from Pennsylvania, Mr. Murtha, has brought dishonor and discredit
to the United States House of Representatives by misusing the powers of the chair."

As Democrat Leader Hoyer moved to table the resolution, which would have prevented debate on the issue, he also made the comment: "Enough is enough" which is considered a commentary on the issue opening it for debate by the other side according to House Rules.

House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio rose to demand the debate which Hoyer’s comment required. The Chair declined to hear any protest and a vote proceeded to shelve, or table, Murtha’s rebuke.

Later, the same House records which recorded the resolution, only showed Congressman Hoyer making the motion to table and deleted his comments. They do show House GOP Leader Boehner’s response which appear wildly inappropriate considering that Hoyer’s statement is no longer complete.

The following video is under three minutes and illustrates the matter perfectly:

Like the stolen vote before, Dems seem to think that the records of House proceedings can be altered in a way which reflects better on them. They have no shame.

Be Proud of GOP Fighters in U.S. House

Some of us wondered if John Boehner was too much a part of the Old Guard of House Republicans to be the fighter we needed. That impression should be totally dispelled by his strong leadership in the House this past week.

Despite Democrat strong arm tactics, Leader Boehner writes in Town Hall.com… describing the positive legislation Republican leadership has secured even in this House of shame.

Nancy Pelosi promised a House run by Democrats would restore civility and it would be "the most open, ethical Congress in History." What a laugh!

Isn’t there something in the constitution (not that any of the democrats have ever read it) that allows the American people to remove members or the entire congress, by force if necessary? Time to exercise this option, the communist/socialist/Nazi jackboot democrats have been there too long.

Scrapiron: There’s nothing comparable to impeachment of the President in regard to the House, or even a particular member.

We’re going to have to do this the olde fashioned way and vote the bums out.

I just hope that the small number of persons who sat on their hands last election to teach the GOP a lesson has learned THEIR lesson.

There are enough vulnerable Democrat seats in the House which will come into play in 2008 to make retaking the House possible.

But that means that people on our side will have to put aside their complaints about the GOP and work together (for a change).

Amazing huh Mike? Can you just imagine the outcry if the roles were reversed? Holy cow the NYT’s would have a conniption fit. But all we are hearing is a big yawn from our MSM.

So typical.
