<description>A job well done, Curt. It is right and proper that we should spend our time today honoring our veterans.

		<description>Nice post, Curt.

I was irked by the big 2-page Macy's spread ad in the Sunday LA Times. I just think it's classless to ride on the coattails of this particular "holiday" to promote your business sales. They'd market better if they didn't mention the sale at all, but said a word of thanks to those who served and gave their lives on behalf of our country. Even a small blurb, along with the sales promotion would have been nice. But how much more powerful a statement to use the entire spread to recognize and acknowledge the honored dead?

I liked the honor/duty video. Great images.

Thanks for what you do/did.

<description>God bless and rest our brave fallen -- I will not forget your sacrifice, and I will spend time everyday of my life thinking of what you have done so that I can be free.

God bless the families -- thank you for your strength and courage. I will pray for strength and for comfort in your loss, and for your loved ones so far away.

God bless you, God bless America, God bless our troops.

It seems odd to me that a nation that owes so much to its veterans only recognizes their sacrifice but a few days a year. It amazes me that, even in time of war, so few Americans actually take the
