They want an immediate vote. Is there a provision in the bill to grant amesty to any and all American citizens that have comitted a crime in the past twenty years or so? I see no reason to try a criminal any more and there is no need for the taxpayers to house and feed the prison population. Turn them all loose. Same result as the amesty bill. That's all it is, there is no immigration bill, only an amesty bill. Or maybe he could have Lott toss in an earmark at the last minute which funds the Iraq War and includes a Congressional statement of support for the troops and the mission.... yeah...let the earmarks and anti-earmark ranting and raving begin!
