This just disgusts me:
A former U.S. Navy sailor has been charged with allegedly passing military secrets about U.S. Navy movements through waters in the Middle East to al Qaeda-related Web sites during the spring of 2001, just months after the USS Cole was attacked in Yemen.
Hassan Abujihaad, formerly known as Paul R. Hall, allegedly passed information about U.S. Navy warship movements in the Straits of Hormuz in April 2001 while he was a member of the Navy. The information passed along contained details about vulnerabilites of U.S. vessels — including susceptibility to small boat attacks by terrorists.
Abujihaad was arrested today in Phoenix, according to a criminal complaint unsealed tonight that charged him with providing material support to terrorists who planned to kill U.S. nationals.
The complaint claims Abujihaad was an associate of Derrick Shareef, who allegedly tried to explode grenades at the CherryVale Mall outside Chicago during the height of the holiday shopping season last December. Shareef was arrested on Dec. 6, 2006, when he traded stereo speakers for dud grenades in an FBI sting operation.
An American citizen, in our military, has actively helped our enemy and even voiced support for the attack that killed 17 of his fellow soldiers. In this article from 2004 about the man who apparently recruited this piece of dogcrap we find just how much Paul Hall supported their efforts to kill Americans:
According to an affidavit in the case, Mr. Ahmad communicated with a U.S. Navy enlistee aboard the USS Benfold, a guided missile destroyer, who was said to be "sympathetic to al Qaeda causes." The sailor tentatively has been identified as Hassan Abujihaad, who served aboard the Benfold in 2000 and 2001.
The sailor voiced what the affidavit said was "strong support" for the mujahedeen, including praise for those who attacked the USS Cole in Yemen killing 17 sailors as "men who have brought honor this week to the ummah [community of Islamic believers] in the lands of Jihad Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, etc." …
This is the first case of a member of our military helping al-Qaeda and I hope he hangs. Actually hanging would be too pleasant for him.

An astounding story: "Pilot with 9/11 links found in NZ," from the New Zealand Herald, with thanks to David Farrar: Rayed Mohammed Abdullah Ali, who lived in Phoenix with Hani Hanjour, who piloted American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon, went to New Zealand and was…taking flight training. He has been expelled from the country and is back in Saudi Arabia, which of course, as everyone knows, is our Friend and Ally and will not allow him to get into any mischief.
Farrar emphasizes what it says below, that in Phoenix, "Ali has been reported in the 9/11 Commission report as giving extremist speeches at the mosque."
What they hell is in the drinking water in Phoenix? Recall the flying Imams from a few months ago….where were they flying to again? Oh right, Phoenix.
Seriously tho, this traitor HAS to get the death penalty. Nothing else will be accepted. An American who while serving in our nations military actively helped the group that killed so many of our innocent Americans needs to face his 72 virgins and begone.

The U.S. branch of an international Islamic charity and five of its officers, employees or associates have been indicted for illegally transferring funds to Iraq, laundering money, stealing federal funds, and obstructing tax laws by, among other things, falsely denying that a procurement agent of Osama bin Laden had been an employee of the charity, Assistant Attorney General for National Security Kenneth L. Wainstein, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri Bradley J. Schlozman, and Assistant Director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division Joseph Billy announced today.
The charity named in the 33-count indictment is the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA), formerly known as the Islamic African Relief Agency-USA. IARA is an Islamic charitable organization headquartered in Columbia, Mo., that was officially formed in 1985 and closed in October 2004, when it was identified by the U.S. Treasury Department as a specially designated global terrorist organization.
Also charged in the indictment are Mubarak Hamed, 50, of Columbia, Mo., a naturalized U.S. citizen from Sudan who served as executive director of IARA; Ali Mohamed Bagegni, 53, formerly of Columbia, Mo. and currently of Iowa City, Iowa, a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Libya and a former member of IARA’s board of directors; Ahmad Mustafa, 54, of Columbia, Mo., a citizen of Iraq and a former fund-raiser for IARA; Khalid Al-Sudanee, 55, a citizen and resident of Jordan and the regional director of the Middle East office of the Islamic African Relief Agency (also known as the Islamic Relief Agency, or ISRA); and Abdel Azim El-Siddiq, 50, of Palos Heights, Ill., a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Sudan and formerly vice president for international operations for IARA.
“Today’s indictment paints an alarming picture of theft, money laundering, and fraud by the U.S. branch of an international charitable organization. These charges demonstrate our resolve to thoroughly investigate and prosecute any charities that abuse their tax-exempt status to engage in wide-ranging criminal activity,” said Assistant Attorney General Wainstein.

Until we come to grips with this fact and recognize the threat for what it is then we are doomed to fail in this war. President Bush has set us on the right path to destroying our enemies but Iraq and Afghanistan is just two battles in this war. And most of the left don’t even believe there IS a war.
